Great accessory to the Ipod Shuffle especially for runners!
I'm not sure if this is an absolute must-have accessory since the Ipod Shuffle will apparently clip-on to clothing securely, but I don't want this thing flapping around on my clothes while I'm running.I bought this to compliment my Ipod Shuffle and it was the perfect hands-free solution. It's comfortable, not itchy and is much better than running with a 30g Ipod in-hand or at all. Unless you have the biceps of a baby or the Incredible Hulk, it should fit just fine.As someone else pointed out, the on/off and shuffle-play switches are not accessible once you insert the Ipod into the jacket. You can't see the charge/on light either. I can only imagine the reason Apple did this. Maybe to lessen the chance of sweat seeping into the nooks and crannies of your Ipod. They could have just put a clear protective window over the switches like they did the main buttons. Who knows?Instead of taking the Ipod in and out of the jacket everytime I turn it on/off I just cut a hole. There are pictures of the switches on the jacket, but no access holes. I used the picture as a template and carefully cut through the material with a box cutter and some scissors. You can do the same for the shuffle switch, but I prefer my songs to play straight through so I don't care about that switch. The hole is tiny, but suitable for me to access the on/off switch. The solution works fine. No problems. No seepage. If you run in the sun for long periods of time with the action jacket and a sleeveless shirt, the band will leave a farmers tan the same way short-sleeve shirts and watches do.The neoprene band is machine washable, but I haven't had it long enough to say if it is durable through hundreds of washes or comes apart at the seams. I plan to handwash and air dry it.

Good product...made a minor adjustment...
I use this to hold my shuffle while I run. Works very well. But the on/off switch is very difficult to toggle. The neoprane material that holds the shuffle is fairly thick so it's difficult to determine if the embedded switch is on or off. I just cut a whole in the bottom of it, though, so that I have access to the switch and it works perfectly. While it's not a big deal, my shuffle also doesn't fit exactly in the case so that the clear circle opening can fit perfectly over the circular controls. I think it's because at the seam of the neoprene case on the inside, there's a little extra material that doesn't allow the shuffle to fit perfectly. The controls are still easy access and this doesn't cause much difficulty, though. Overall, this product works well for me as I expected.

Nice armband with a little catch...
Overall, it's a functional armband that protects my shuffle really well. The armband itself is nice and easily adjustable with good velcro stick. If you didn't want to use the neoprene sleeve for the shuffle, you could simply clip it to the band as well. I bought this band in an effort to get my shuffle off my waistband as I tend to sweat a ton while running and ended up ruining my last one that way. This fit the bill nicely. The only negative is that to turn the shuffle on and off you need to remove and replace it in its neoprene housing. Doesn't sound like much of a hassle, but it kind of is. The housing fits snuggly and tends to be a pain to deal with. It's far from a deal breaker, but be aware of this annoyance...especially with cold fingers in the winter.

Works for the new Nano's too!
I have been using this armband for a couple months now, I run and go to the gym about 6 days a week so it has gotten plenty of use and abuse over that time and works just fine. I started using it with my shuffle and then when I got the new generation Nano the clip looked similar and sure enough the armband works great with the new Nanos too. The only issue I have with it is at the end of the strap were the company logo inst Velcro and tends to flap around and catch on things, I just used a small strip of black tape to tape it down and fix that. All in its a simple product that does what its supposed to.

Good Quality; OK Design.
The quality of the armband and the Action Jacket seem nice. The issue is that neither the power on/off switch nor the shuffle on/off switch on the side of the shuffle are accessible. There are labels on the side of the Action Jacket indicating where the switches are, but with the neoprene cover you really can't switch them on/off and if you do manage to you have know way of knowing their position. I assume I will be cutting a small whole so i have access to those switches. One nice thing is that you can use the arm band separate from the jacket, which is the main reason I bought this anyway (for the armband that is).

Only game in town, but good enough for the price
Not a lot of choices in armbands for the Shuffle. This one works. I had to punch a hole for one of the buttons, as other reviewers have mentioned, but it was easily done with a sharp pencil. I'd rather have a wider band, since the skinny band may look a bit silly around my bicep, but considering the lack of choice and the low price on this one, I can live with the faults. The elastic band and velcro are durable and well-made, and have survived nearly a year of use and life inside my gym bag without visible changes. I'd say, don't waste time trying to find a perfect arm band - this one is good enough.

Arm band is the only useful thing in it
I bought this after seeing a review like "Don't spend too much time researching for an iPod holder, go ahead and buy it". It was definitely my mistake. You get an arm band with a place on the outside to clip your iPod. THIS is the ONLY thing that's gonna work for you. Additionally you get a cover like thing to hold the iPod (stuff iPod) in it which is simply IMO junk. 1st of all you can't stuff your iPod into it. Even if you achieve it, then you have problems locating your buttons/switches. Huh.. it's a pain to use it. For $5 I would never ever buy something like this. Just buy an arm band through other websites or nearby stores and clip your iPod. You might end up buying it for just 1/3 of the price.
