Great for use with Pets & Kids!
I love my kitties dearly, but when we purchased new furniture I decided that I'd try to avoid the stains of accidental hairballs coughed up by using some sort of seat covers for everyday wear. I didn't want to get something that covered the furniture completely ... what would be the point of new furniture if you can't see it? So I was delighted to find these, and they work perfectly, come in a nice assortment of colors and are generously sized. Unlike many of the ones sold for use with pets (which are of lesser quality and are only water "resistant") these are the real deal and definitely worth the money. I poured water on one and the water just puddled there on the surface. They also machine-wash beautifully. They generally stay in place, but if you have folks who sort of slide off a chair rather than stand up and walk away from a chair (if you know what I mean) the mat may move a bit depending on the type of chair-fabric you have. I found this may be alleviated (again depending on fabric) by putting a piece of non-adhesive shelf liner between the seat and the mat. Works great!
Protect her recliner absorbed accidents , no liquid has gotten on chair yet great value. Comfortable, my aunt doesnt realize its there in her seat. Thin with the back keeping liquid out and it does not slide around. To clean just throw it in washer and dryer

Good but has the same issues all these pads have
the tl&dr here is: the waterproof-ness of all these pads only lasts for a while so you eventually end up replacing them typically after a few months to around half a year if you're washing/drying them frequently. This isn't due to a design defect or because the pad construction is poor. Its because the waterproof layer doesn't hold up well to washing or drying. In particular drying!! Happens to all the pads no matter which one you buy.The way I've found to make them hold up is to wash them with cold water only in the washer and let them air dry on a line or hanging up in the shower. Don't put them in the dryer!! I've been able to get them to stay waterproof for nearly a year doing that. I've heard some say that they only hand wash them in the tub with cold water with dish soap and air dry them on a clothes line which can make them last upwards of a year but haven't seen it work yet myself.Personally I'm a bit lazy to go and do it really but its worth a shot if you want to get the most out of it.The pad itself is fine and looks ok. Stitching has held up well so far after nearly a month of use and it does grip the seat reasonably well so it doesn't bunch up too much. I only have to readjust it every week or so. None of the edges are curling up like others that I've seen which is nice.Comfort-wise its a thin pad, maybe 1/4 inch thick, so it really doesn't offer much cushioning nor does it much effect the cushion of the chair you're sitting in. Which is fine if you're like me and don't need more padding. Size-wise they're perfect for recliners or other large-ish chairs. On smaller chairs they'll overhang way to much and there isn't any ties or anything to take up the extra fabric so it'll look silly.

Waterproof Seat Pad
I use my Amicare Absorbent Washable Waterproof Seat Protector Pad to put on our love seat between the console and armrest for my dog to lay on. We recently purchased new furniture and I needed a tastefully way to protect it. I tried going with just the blanket over the end of the love seat where my dog likes to lay. That was a constant battle keeping the blanket in place. The 21" x 22" pad fits perfect between the armrest and console. The non slip back keeps the pad in place on our microfiber love seat. The velour front is soft and lightly padded. My dog does not have issues with incontinence, but we do deal with wet paws from heavy dew or the rain from potty breaks outside. She is a long haired dog and tends to drag a few leaves and grass clippings in too. The seat pad has done it's job so far in keeping the love seat clean and dry. I have machined washed and machine dried it on a medium heat setting. The seat pad came out looking brand new. I purchased the seat pad in brown. It's a little darker shade of brown than what my computer displayed, but that is fine. It's a good color. Very pleased with my purchase.

Attractive and effective
We were using a folded white bed pad on my husband's recliner - as one reviewer pointed out, it screams "incontinence!" So I decided to spring for a more discreet chair pad, and chose this one.Size: my husband's recliner is a standard size, and the pad fits it perfectly. It covers the seat cushion precisely from side to side, and overhangs the front edge about an inch.Color: I would have liked a bigger choice of colors, but the brown goes well with the dark green print upholstery.Difficulty getting up: I was hesitant after reading two reviews that said the user couldn't slide forward to get up from the chair, but I had a hunch and I was right: the surface fabric is slightly napped, like a lint remover. When my husband reported that he couldn't get up, I turned the pad around, front-to-back, and voilà! - problem solved.I plan to buy another one so we can alternate them, and have one on the chair while the other is in the wash. I may also get one for his desk chair: it's upholstered in vinyl, but does absorb odors.Update: I have now purchased 2 brown ones for his recliner, and blue ones for the desk chair and the car seat. I have washed them over and over, and put them in the dryer on medium-low heat; when I remember, I take them out and drape them over a drying rack before they're fully dry, but I've left them in the dryer overnight and they're still flat, soft, and supple after more than a year of daily use.

Advertising was misleading. Product is good.
I ordered this product that was advertised as having 2 pads in the package. The product came and when I opened it, there was only 1 pad.I would not have paid this much for 1 pad.

Sort of Works
Product sort of works. The blue one is disappointing, as when it got urine on it, it bleached out the colour, to a sort of yellowish colour.
