Very good for the hobbyist
This putty is a variant on the venerable "green stuff". It is a slightly cheaper option but does not perform the same way. It has a smooth, non sticky texture that works well for smaller details like chainmaille and small buckles or anything requiring a sharp edge. The lack of inherent stickiness can be a slight problem when being used as it can be hard to keep it on the figure. Overall it takes most textures well (cloth, stone, chainmaille, metal plates, flesh) and blends quite easily. It has a significantly shorter cure Time than free stuff as well. It seemed to start hardening at 30 minutes. This can be controlled to a certain extent by mixing different ratios of hardener to resin just as in green stuff. Also it can be mixed 1/1 with mixed green stuff to make a very flexible and smooth putty that is excellent for almost every application.

A dream come true for a simple hobbyist.
For the better part of 10 years, I've used numerous sculpting clay to do modifications on action figures. Up until last year, I only used Aves Apoxie Sculpt in my work. That stuff is borderline bullet proof when it comes to most normal sculpt work, but any thin/intricate details typically snap off with ease. When mixed in varying ratios, ProCreate is absolutely perfect for sculpting thin, durable, flexible details like long hair. braided beards, tails, or even scarves/ponchos. It can take some time to get used to working with, but the results are well worth it. Be sure to keep your fingers and sculpting tools a little wet when working, and you should be fine.Small side note, the batch I got shipped to me seemed to be a tad old, or possibly wasn't stored properly wherever it came from. The roll of "hardener" was dry, and noticeably darker than what I got from another batch I bought awhile ago. Thankfully the pack isn't a complete loss though. I just have to make sure I mush the resin and hardener around a bit separately before trying to mix the two.

A staple in my modeling and sculpting tool chest.
Always a reliable, quality putty. I have used this brand as my go to putty for modeling and sculpting for about 10 years now, and rarely find a need for others. It doesn't hold an edge quite as well as Milliput, and you can't water it down, but outside of those two specific cases it does the job well. I have tried cheaper versions of 'grey stuff' putty, and been disappointed; the last one I tried came in two plastic tubes, and the mix putties were partially cured on the outside, resulting in a hard shell that couldn't be used. That stuff has been relegated to filling large gaps and filling out wire armatures, and I am back to using ProCreate for any detail work.Pros:Less sticky than Green Stuff. Can be mixed in differing ratios of grey and white for different performance. The packaging also gives recipes for doing so to achieve those results. Can be submerged in a little cup to slow curing time while you work.Apparently it lasts damned near forever; I recently found two tiny bags in the bottom of an army carrier, each with a nickle sized blob of putty (unmixed). I haven't touched that army carrier since Bush was in office, but the putty mixed up and cured just fine.It is packaged with both parts in their own separate wrappers, so there isn't curing in the middle. I don't understand why companies sell a mix putty with the two parts touching each other in the package.Cons:A little pricier than some alternatives, but only by a dollar or so, and a lot better quality.Sometimes you do wish it was a little stickier, which can be achieved with mixing differently, but that also changes the cure time and final hardness.Don't try and use a heat gun to get it to cure faster. After that mess, I have since learned it is only heat tolerant to about 180 F. You just have to be patient and let it do its thing.

Perfect for flexible parts of custom figures!
After trying my hand at the action figure customizing scene, I decided to try out Procreate when I read that you can customize the mix to make it more flexible. This is perfect for sculpting anything that needs to have some give to it. I've used it for clothing and hair on my custom figures and have no complaints. The one thing I would absolutely recommend to purchase alongside this item is some sort of sculpting Vaseline to prevent your hands and tools from sticking to it and ruining your sculpt. Before I started adding in the Vaseline I was getting incredibly frustrated when my tools would stick and ruin my details.

... for miniature builders and action figure customizers and infinitely better than it's closest substitute
This is a very handy sculpting material for miniature builders and action figure customizers and infinitely better than it's closest substitute, greenstuff. While this material has little to no shrinkage and is much easier to sculpt and sand, varying the resin and hardener can produce flexible sculpting objects, something neither greenstuff nor the rigid Apoxie and Milliput can't do. Of course even with a lot of resin, the flexibility is still limited and you'll need paints that accommodate it, but for that reason alone, it's great product to have in your kit.Beware that if you're trying to add on to something with this, making it flush is tremendously difficult. Unlike its rigid counterparts, working on wet surfaces with wet tools will make ProCreate *less* sticky and blendable. Using water is a great way to flatten it into sheets which can be cut into shapes for cloth details like capes and belts and such.
