I was in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan and I have purchased almost every wrist forearm exercise item there is for sale. This is by far the one I use the most. It is very convenient to switch from left to right hand adjusting the tension as each hand has different extent of nerve damage from spinal injury. The resistance is steady unlike others and it feels comfortable once you add this grip tape to it. My old one was without adjustment and its becoming very easy for me as the strength is only around 20 lbs. I was searching for good adjustment one and I saw this one.. Well built Hand grip strengthener. The like the Adjustment for the strength. I'm have been using whenever my hand are free.One think I would like to suggest Zivalo is that when we increase the strength, its becoming difficult to grip it as the handles are soft. If it has a nice grip then this would have been a 5 Star..

How is this product called a Hand Grip Strengthener, but it has NO GRIP at all? LOL! It's pretty decent but I should've done my research and got one with a foam pad grip support on it. Also, the spring/screw are tricky. They don't stay in place which is why I gave this product 3 stars. It seems like it could crack soon =/ Nevertheless, it's helped with that weak wrist problem I've had for some time. Use it when my palms are moist (after washing dishes or exercising) only.

There's a lot wrong with this item! It has NO padding on the handles and is very uncomfortable to use. Plus I don't like the way the spring feels as it's too ridged, and doesn't have a good feel.I'm not sending it back, having to pay the shipping, there's no use. I will tape and pad the handles and hopefully get use to the action. And, if I don't like it then, I'll toss it! Wal Mart, I just saw, has a better one for $9!!

It's squeaks a lot and is not nearly as comfortable to use and has less range than the old fashioned (1970's) "A-frame" style hand strengtheners. The more you increase the resistance the more the handle digs into your fingers and is very slippery. The finger portion needs to be thicker or have some sort of padding, IMO.

Gave this to one of my cricket athletes for his birthdaythe boy loves it , he swear that it made his pull ups 100 times better!! i wont know he still dies every session lol but maybe that just me killing him lmao !!! trust me very nice

i like to use this hand grip for fun such as when i am bored or when i am watching a game i get some sets in. i don't use it for medical reason. i like how it is adjustable. For people with stronger grip they can test their strength. what else can i say i have had it for close to a year i have droped it a couple of times and is still works like is new.

This is a good, effective product for the price.The manufacturing quality is good, and the over-all design is adequate.The reason I gave it (4) stars (instead of 5), was because the "regulator" wheelis too stiff, for comfortable adjusting.
