this seems to be the perfect solution. Well constructed and solid
Although I've only been using the WalkTop Treadmill Desk for a couple of days, my initial reactions are completely positive. Installation was a snap. I can access all the controls on my treadmill. I'm blown away by how much room I have to use my laptop and reference papers. I'm using exercise to normalize my BP readings. I've been walking on the treadmill every day for six weeks and fighting high boredom levels to stay at it. (Yes, I'm a little bit of a workaholic.) I finally decided I had to find a way to combine work and exercise if this is going to be a long-term health solution. Day one, I walked for 65 minutes at 2.3 mph while writing on my laptop without my usual thought -- "Oh God! When can I get off this thing?!" For me, this seems to be the perfect solution. Well constructed and solid. Worth the price.

I am not able to adjust it easily like the video shows
I have had this for six months now. I use it a lot. However, I am not able to adjust it easily like the video shows. Adjusting is not easy and never has been. I love having this and use it every day, but only in the same position.

Serves its purpose with some limitations
This product is almost exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to be able to work while walking on a treadmill that is designed for running (NordicTrack Commercial 1750), and it totally delivers. It also is quite beautifully designed, and unlike some other reviewers, I find adjusting the height and angle pretty easy. I have been using it for about 6 weeks, and there are two drawbacks to it, which is why I couldn't give it 5 stars. First, it really is a lot larger than it needs to be. I have way more space to work than I can imagine using. This wouldn't be too bad, but it does take up a lot more space than it really needs to, and it does make it challenging to get to some of the controls on my treadmill, especially when my laptop is open right in front of me. Second, it is just heavy and large enough that it is not easy to take on and off the treadmill on a daily basis. So if you (or someone else in your home) want to run and walk/work in the same day, it can be cumbersome. My treadmill is 60 inches long, so I made the decision that I'll simply run with the WalkTop on it. This is not recommended, and I can see how it is not the safest thing to do. Fortunately, I do have an emergency cord that I always use, just in case. I haven't had any trouble running with it on there, and I have sufficient access to the controls, but depending on one's treadmill, it could be impossible to do. I definitely would buy it all over again, but it's not quite perfect.

Well Made Product With Some Setbacks
Hits and misses with this one. Good concept, some good features then some not so great features in other areas. Was a bit surprised, the product is lightweight for the size despite it being huge, around 30 pounds boxed. As far as length, it's almost the length of one of the treadmills I own or in comparison to an object at least the width of a full size bed or a small desk. It's made of well constructed stainless steel/glass with a protective screen over the top to ensure no scratches or damage- It arrived well packaged.Pros: For the massive size it is fairly easy to use and easy to fold flat, collapse and store somewhere. The glass and overall design are well made and good quality. Let's you see the controls through the glass.Once installed allows accessibility to items and lets you adjust the height, angle or incline. Is sturdy and holds up to 50 pounds and will allow you to do a variety of tasks while walking such as working on a laptop, reading, paperwork and increasing overall productivity. Is pre-assembled and only requires you to strap it down to the treadmill and adjust it to your liking.Cons: May obstruct the control features on some treadmills so you may have to ensure that your treadmill has an emergency stop feature that will allow quick access while you're using the product. You can't run while using this product or while it's installed, you should walk slowly and be familiar with the speed controls on their treadmill. It's recommended you also not place any hot items, liquid or solid on top of the Walk Top.Noting the deck length of your treadmill to ensure you don't fall off the treadmill while walking with this installed.Ratchet straps on the bottom may not fit your treadmill though you can call Customer Service if you have a problem with that.To sum it up- This may be of interest to you if you're looking to work, use the computer or do other things while walking. I give it near 5 stars for quality. This would be perfect if it were a bit smaller. The workmanship is not the problem here- It's very well made, it's just the aspect of the size and the lack of control of some things you can do while on the treadmill but the benefits for you may outweigh the cons depending on what you're looking for and your exercise routine.

Pretty awesome!!
So, if you like mechanical engineering, you should probably just buy this. It's pretty wonderful!I jumped from struggling to get 6k steps in during the day, to going over 20k and soaked with sweat.I do recommend mounting a large monitor/tv on a wall so you aren't looking down at a laptop screen (if that is what you want to do). When in use, I tie a strap around the desk to keep from being able to lift up the desk. That's how you close it and I'd rather my son not learn how to close it with my laptop on top :-).
