A good idea, but needs refinement to work as intended
This face pillow is soft and the cover is top quality; the memory foam helps with alignment when sleeping on your stomach. One small criticism: the face hole is too small compared to other face cradles/pillows I've tried. The biggest problem, however, is that once you place your face onto the pillow (which you have placed on the bed), the memory foam molds to the bed underneath and the little hole formed for your face is fairly airtight - so there is very little air and you can't breathe!Since this pillow did seem like a good idea and the fabric and foam are very comfortable, my husband and I tried some different solutions to see if we could lift the front part just a little to let in some air - but these corrections, which involved inserting some kind of block under the pillow base, lifted my neck out of alignment and would have given me bad neck problems if I'd tried to sleep that way. Finally, he measured out a 7-inch length of a pool noodle, cut that piece in half, then carved an L-shaped hole through the middle of one half - perfect solution! The flat, cut side faces downward, while the curved side of the noodle tucks perfectly into the curved underside of the pillow. I affixed this contraption with velcro to the underside of the pillow. The firmness of the noodle foam prevents the pillow from sagging into the bed and allows the air to pass through the holes in the foam and the big hole for your face.So I got the pillow to work for me, but it's kind of a rigmarole to make it work so one can use it and still breathe!!

After surgery this made life easier
My husband needed to keep his face down after eye surgery for a week. That made life difficult because it put a strain on his neck muscles. This pillow solved that problem and was quite comfortable for him.

Not too practical
Absolutely love this pillow. The memory foam is just perfect. It has a little neck curve and and a hole to put ur face downward. The cons are: pillow is too small to roll on top while asleep. And the facehole has no airflow when facing downward so it kinda defeats the purpose. I think it should have some kind of airflow vent through out the pillow so u can breathe in prone position.

Does not work for face-down sleeping
My husband had a vitrectomy so he has to sleep face down. This pillow really does not work at all. It squishes all the way down against the mattress so there's no way for air to get in the way too tiny gap at the bottom of the pillow. It completely defeats the purpose. The face hole is also waaay too tiny. It's soft an may be find for regular sleeping but is not a relief for anyone forced to sleep face down. I recommend rather going to rental company and using their equipment.

Works great!
This thing is awesome. It has 8 different position for maximum comfort. I put it ontop of another pillow and it's as comfortable as can be.

Not much room to breath
This didt work as a face pillow on my massage table bc it has little space for breathing. I did find use for it as a pillow on my table that sits up & it stays put.

Small hole for face but well made.
Well made and comfy. However I needed a larger hole for the face so my eyes would not rest on the pillow. I had eye surgery and this is not good for those needing to stay face down for a week or two without putting pressure on the eyes. So it’s a good nap pillow but not advised for post retinal surgery.
