This case has seen use nearly every day for the last few months and has been great. What I needed was a protector for my new tablet so I could bring it to work to use during lunch breaks. This case, like many similar ones, forms its own stand in landscape orientation which is perfect to set on the table while I'm eating. It is sturdy and was easy to get the tablet into, and it holds it securely. There is a magnet to hold the top shut so it doesn't open by itself, and the magnetization also helps with it when used as a stand. Also, as advertised, if the tablet is on shutting the case puts the tablet in sleep mode, and opening the case brings you back to the desktop; you don't even have to swipe on the hold screen to get back to business. I also like the blue color, which I wanted because the tablet is a blue that I like and didn't want to put it in just a generic looking black case. This case is precisely as advertised and exactly what I needed. I feel safe to haul my tablet around, and the stand is perfect for using it at lunchtime. For the price, and even for more, I can't imagine there is a better option.

The original case I purchased for my 2015 Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 finally got worn and tattered so I searched and finally found the FINTIE brand on Amazon. Exact fit and protection was my biggest concern for my tablet and the Fintie Slim Shell Case looked to be the correct one for my model. I was very pleased after receiving the Fintie case because it is very well constructed and fits my Tab A tablet perfectly. The design is sleek and form fitting and it is very durable. The front cover closes nicely and is held down with some thin magnets along the edge. Overall this is a really great looking protective tablet case that should last many years. One thing I wanted to mention is that because the back of the case is a hard shell material that it can slide to some degree on slick hard surfaces. I would definitely recommend this Fintie case to anyone who owns a 2015 Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 because it is attractive, well made, fits like a glove and is very affordable.

This is an excellent case. It fits perfectly and secures my tablet perfectly. I have absolutely zero complaints. If it did eventually break... I would just order another one. Edit: After owning this case for more than half a year, the plastic gets very brittle. It starts chipping off for no reason. The magnets fall out. The unit just falls apart. That said, for 10 bucks, you get what you paid for. I ordered another one because the slim design and the feel of the material works great for me. I still like the case and am a fan, but if youre looking for longevity, look elsewhere. I still recommend this case.

I've had this stand 2 years now, and it's held up VERY well. I've dropped it a few times, and one of those times, one of the back clasps that hold my tablet in place broke off a little bit, but it hasn't affected the function at all. It still holds my device firmly and has kept it safe even with subsequent drops. Despite tons of handling, the cover design still looks like it did when I purchased it, no wear or tear or diminishing of color. I use the folding stand function frequently, and I've noticed no wear at the creases, even though I often hold the folded part for better grip when I'm reclining and reading and want to hold the device closer to my eyes. This is a sturdy product, with beautiful design on the cover, it has protected my device despite more than a few knocks, and it functions completely as promised. I would buy it again, but I don't actually have to because this thing has legs (i.e. it goes the distance).

This was purchased to protect my tablet after the original bonded leather cover wore out. Not as fancy as the original one, but quite adequate, has extra protection on the corners, and is a good value for the price. I was very pleased to be able to find one to fit an older tablet.

Very happy. Fits right, and leaves access to all buttons, slots, etc. It is slim, that was important for me. Cover closes nicely, stays in place and shuts down the tablet when closed (i.e. turns off). Turns on when cover is opened. I ordered 2 for the tablets of my kids. The navy blue seems a lot darker than the picture / color on the website, but it is a nice dark blue. The red cover looks as expected. Technically, very good product for the price. Slim, and a tight fit, the way it should be! Would definitely buy again. Can't comment on the long term performance yet, but given the price I don't think you'd make a mistake.

Very good cover. It is well made and fits my Samsung really well. The cover sits flat when closed and the way the edges are constructed the buttons are easy to use. This is the second cover I got from this company and the first one lasted a long time.

I ordered this because I wanted a little less expensive case and it had good reviews. It adds very little weight to the tablet and the sleep/wake feature is great! However I have never been a big fan of the snap in cases for tablets. I tried this and after four months the case has a broken piece off the corner where it slipped out of my hand (again slim and light), hit my night stand and out popped the tablet. It protected it but it was not a big drop. The tablet fits back in, but if I hit it just so, it pops out due to the broken corner piece that came off a 6" drop. I may get another case soon that is more of the slip in design like I am used to having. Not bad if you want a cheap case. Did it's job. Just didn't think I would replace it after only four months. So to recap: Slim and not bulky (like tablet) which is great, sleep/wake feature is great, overall construction I would put on a 2 star since after one little drop it broke the hard corner that holds tablet in.
