So far, this shield is great, seems worth the price and no issues as of right now. Easy to put together, adjustments are a little difficult, but that's good to they don't accidentally change

I couldn't be happier, internal battery stays charged well. I've used it for both flux, arc, and grinding. Easy use to change shades, quick change for grinding mode. Comfortable, light, sturdy.

Bought this for my husband for work. He wore it less than a week before one of the plastic bolts on the side that hold the helmet together and allow the helmet to be lowered when in use and raised when it isn't broke. It's a cheap fix, but depending on where you live you probably have to order the replacement parts online. We'll never go with plastic bolts again, and we'll definitely order extra bolts when we order future helmets. Besides that my husband loves it. It's lightweight, it's sensitive if someone around you starts welding it darkens which doesn't bother him it's just for a few seconds. He's looking at a second helmet identical to this one just with another design. Overall not a bad helmet.

Great helmet for the price. Easy to use and is adjustable for different welding processes and personal preference. It is extremely lightweight and has a larger than average viewing area. The headband is comfortable and has a wide range of adjustment to fit a wide variety of head sizes plus comes with sweatband built in for welding in hot environments. The assembly was a little challenging with the rather small print/pictures in manual, but once put together seems sturdy enough. The only gripe I can think of is the ratcheting mechanism to hold helmet open or in different positions is rather difficult to adjust for proper tension and is the only reason I gave only 4 stars for comfort. Overall I'm happy with purchase and would buy again in a heartbeat.

Works amazingly well for the cost. Settings are easy to adjust, no inadvertant flashes, and fairly comfortable to wear. Great helmet for the hobbyist. Very quick response to arc strike

I guess I'm old school to the point of this is the first one of these I have tried. Once I put all the pieces together and reread the instructions and then put them together right... Fit well and pretty comfortable, don't miss the whiplash movement to get my hood down.Did some tuning and got the shading just right with my glasses and spent about an hour or so welding with it and am pleasantly surprised. I would say I should have gotten one years ago lolPretty good bang for the buck...

Pros - has a large screen, lightweight and does it's job.Cons - the assembly that holds it to your head is garbage! It's cheap plastic and binds up making the helmet difficult to flip up & down. My old Harbor Freight helmet didn't even have this issue. Also, the helmet itself is made of thin plastic and flimsy.I will use this helmet for a while but will eventually replace it with a name brand unit. Lesson learned.

The helmet itself is nice. I have both the 23 and the Skull helmet. The Skull has a better notch system for the head gear and is somewhat easier to put together. The only thing that was noticed is that the black inside the helmet was peeling on the first one, the number 23. Contacted customer service which is excellent and they sent me a new helmet. Much better, still some peeling on the inside, but what wonderful customer service!
