There isn't anything wrong with the operation of the cutter, I'm just not fond of the raised lip on the grip. It's probably safer so you hand doesn't slip towards the cutter, but I'm always grabbing the tool and needing to readjust my grip

I have been using these cutters for over a year and still work as good as new. They still cut through wire like they're made of butter. Love the fact igan has a lifetime warranty if needed. Great tool company that keeps making great tools for a good value. Highly recommend to anyone.

I keep these in my boat in case I get hooked. The fishing hook went deep in my hand recently with fish still on the hook! It was flopping around driving the hook deeper. I calmly found these cutting pliers and pushed the hook out my skin and cut with the barb off. It came out of skin very easy after that and kept me out of the ER! Love them.

I just love this tool. With the tool being spring loaded you can go from cut to cut without struggling to open the tool each cut. It was a good weight and looks like it will last a long time. I was pleasantly surprised that it had a good price.

Worked great for less then a week for smaller stuff but chipped the end so now it's just for bigger cutting jobs
