Love it
It was confusing at first but then I got the hang of it. Sometimes it sprays a long mist and sometimes it sprays short mists.

Cats Hate It, We Love It
This is a mister that is not only perfect for indoor plants, it's also perfect for gently convincing cats to leave our food alone. It holds 5 oz. of water and sprays a mist so fine that I'm nowhere near needing to refill it even though I've used it quite a bit.My husband comes in from the summer heat and sprays his face and torso. The mist is so fine that if he has his shirt on, it doesn't matter - it dries very quickly. And the cats. Our last regular squirt bottle died about six months ago and the cats have forgotten their manners. When I flashed this petite bottle at my obnoxious boy, he didn't recognize it so I had to squirt him. He didn't like it one bit but it didn't really hurt him (no water in his eyes) either. The mist is so light that he is fully aware of it, but his fur dries almost instantly and the table doesn't get wet.Whether you use this for plants, cooling yourself off, to fend off cats - I do all those - or as a mister for hair - this little mister is just right.

Best for spraying water only
Best for spraying water onlyBecause I’m always afraid that I’ll break glass bottles while gardening, I actually prefer using plastic sprayers to mist my plants. This Guaren fine mist sprayer works perfectly for that job! It covers a large area, and is indeed a very fine mist! I think my plants appreciate the humidity it creates without being totally drenched in water. Ha!Ha! However, the mist created by the Guaren sprayer isn’t actually continuous, as stated, but it does continue to mist for a couple of seconds when you release the trigger, and it will engage quickly when the trigger is pressed again. Also, before use, it actually does take a few pumps until you see any water coming out.For review purposes, I also tested this fine mist sprayer while styling my hair. I always get my hair a bit wet before I spray on Infusium, and this Guaren fine mist sprayer makes fast work of the process, covering a large area in one spray!** Warning! Read the entire product description! Doing so, the consumer learns that Guaren recommends that the fine mist sprayer be filled with water only, and that the use of oils will possibly clog it over time. Although they state that one can attempt to unclog the sprayer with vinegar, this just sounds like too much work for me! Ha! Ha! I’ll use it for water only, as recommended! This means that this fine mist sprayer isn’t well suited for my homemade cleaners and airfresnners, which contain essential oils. However, this isn't a dealbreaker for me because it is best to use glass bottles for essential oils anyway, and I prefer glass sprayers for most uses. Also, the product description states that the Guaren fine mist sprayer is made using food safe materials, but again, cautions that the use of oils will likely clog the sprayer. Again, this isn’t a dealbreaker for me because I personally wouldn't use plastic for use with food. However, I do appreciate that it is food grade, meaning I am hopefully not inhaling any harmful chemicals as I spray the water! I have no way of verifying that, but I’m hoping! Ha! Ha!** Note: before using the sprayer I cleaned it! It states in the product description that each sprayer is tested to ensure that it produces a fine mist spray, and that as a result, there could be a bit of water left in the pump. Such was the case with the product I received, but it was very little and not visible within the actual bottle. To check for water when I first opened the product, I aimed the sprayer into the sink, pumped the trigger a few times to get it going, and continued to spray until no more water came out. Again, it was a tiny amount of water. I then cleaned the entire product with 99% isopropyl alcohol, both inside and out, and sprayed the alcohol through the sprayer, making sure to keep the sprayer aimed close to the drain so that I wasn’t breathing in misty alcohol. Ha! Ha! I then washed it with Dawn dish liquid and sprayed that through as well, then kept rinsing and spraying with straight water until all soapy residue was gone, again aiming as close to the drain as possible. This is nothing more or less than I would do with any sprayer.Summary and observations:*Since it is best to fill the sprayer with water only, some may find that it may limit the usefulness of the product.* I cleaned the sprayer before using it, as described above. *Product description tells the consumer that the sprayer may have a bit of water in the pump, and mine did when it arrived.*As with any sprayer, water should be changed frequently.Bottomline: This Guaren fine mist sprayer is great for misting plants with water, and/or for misting one's hair with water as part of styling regime.I hope that you found my honest review to be helpful. I will update my review if and as needed.

5oz bottle
Says 5oz but, i was able to easily fill it up with almost 8oz of water so that is a bonus.i DIY with essential oils a lot and was going to use this bottle, if it sprayed like store bought air fresheners, with my diy odor eliminator spray but, i ended up liking how it sprayed a large area of excellent fine mist so much that i am now using it as my rosacea toner/refresher spray bottle (fill to rim under neck area with filter/boil water or spring water, 25 drops YL tea tree oil and 10 drops of vitamin E). With this bottle i no longer have to spray a few times to get my whole face, nope with this excellent spray bottle, i just have to spray once if i do a full push of the trigger or twice if i decide i want less of a spray by pushing trigger slightly only.. it literally gets my whole face and my neck just by pointing it towards my face! it is awkward to have to push with my thumb since trigger and nozzle is on same side but, no biggy however i would love to see these also made with trigger and nozzle on opposite side for this is truly the BEST spray bottle (at least version i received) that i have ever bought or received and i have tried & used quite a few.. i do prefer using glass bottles only nowadays but, i am making an exception with this P.E.T plastic one!the sprayer is different than most btw. one full push and it continues spraying out for like 2-3 seconds after you let go, kinda cool since you can get your say air freshener solution into a wider area without having to respray. Half push stops spraying right away like normal sprayer bottles do..NOTE: do not point nozzle towards you and push trigger when you receive it. my bottle looked dry so didn't remember the notice seller gives that they test sprayers to make sure they work so they may still have water in them. well the tube in mine still had water in it and i got a little startled by it lol
