Best use for the thicker .080 Kydex sheeting.
If you want quick and easy formable in the oven for your next holster project, then this might not be the stuff you are after. Try the .060 stuff and you'll have better success with the molding and forming of the Kydex. This is so thick that it really doesn't want to bend unless you have molds and forms, a lot of pressure, and a way of handling a much hotter piece of plastic than the .060 stuff. I use this Kydex to back up my leather pocket holsters. Both the homemade ones I make or the factory ones I buy. Both in just leather will eventually start to print as the leather molds closely to the gun. But with leather backed by a straight piece of .080 Kydex, it will stay as stiff as a board and will not give up its shape. Both wallet and pocket holsters benefit from the addition of a sheet of .080 Kydex stitched onto the front panel of the holster (the part that's already flat to block any form of printing)

Excellent material, great for sheaths and holsters!
Excellent material, great for sheaths and holsters! My best friend was the one who did the actual work... However, based on watching the whole process from start to finish, I can definitely say that this kydex is awesome stuff! We did a "piggy-back" sheath (two knives) with a fire-steel holder and a piece on the back to hold a small diamond/ceramic whetstone. The piece of kydex we used for the whetstone was the .060 which worked well. Although, I definitely recommend the 0.80 stuff for heavier-duty applications... And if it's done correctly, the 0.80 kydex will pick up every single contour and edge, giving you amazing definition. I will gladly be purchasing more of this for future projects!

First time user
This is my first time to use kydex. I needed to make a magazine pouch for 3 gun that isn't available. I am surprised how easy kydex is to use. The 8" x 12" sheets are big enough to do several task, but small enough to handle with ease. I used a razor knife to score it and snap it, making a clean cut. I used a cheap heat gun to heat the kydex and bend it into the shape I wanted. Once hot it was as easy as bending leather. I enjoyed it so much, I'm looking for more projects.

Good kydex
Worked great. I made a pretty decent test sheath for a large knife.NO real press to use, I just heated and shaped it with some cardboard and foam I had laying around. finished it up with sander and added a riveted on a belt loop. I have never worked with this stuff before so people with more skill would love this stuff.I realize I can use it to make so many things.I made a wooden base with pieces of this shaped into curves that extend up and hold Xbox controllers. It turned out awesome.I imagine the possibilities for this product are vast.

Good to go
The quality of it seems to be fine to me. Made a holster and extra mag carrier. A little thicker than I would have liked but that's only due to my inexperience working with it. Light durable and easy to use. I simply heated it up with a heat gun I got from harbor freight for about ten bucks and then used gloved hands to manipulate it.

Great product
Great sheets. Got these to try and mold a few sheathes and ended up finding an even better use for them.Life hack: if you have a backpack that has a laptop sleeve and no frame to keep the bag rigid, slide a sheet or two in there to help the bag keep its shape and alleviate the stress on your back. If you have experience molding kydex, give your backpack sheets a slight bend to match the curvature of your back.

Pretty easy to use for simple applications
Pretty easy to use for simple applications. I followed the advice of youtubers and just set it on the lowest possible oven rack over red elements for 20 seconds or so until it looked 'droopy', and it was good to go. It does harden fast so make sure your molds, clamps, etc are all set up for the hot melt. If you do mess up you can just put it back in the oven though. Works great.
