Fun Book of Poetry
I enjoy Bo Burnham's content and this book of poetry is exactly what I would expect. Fun read.

Great, some marks though.
It came in good condition but you can see clear scuff marks on all of the edges.

Little Bummed
They sounded so much better when Bo recited them and I think that's what's missing. Some are strange rants that go nowhere. Others can catch you off guard for a chuckle.

The Highest Praise Possible: Affirming the Quality of Bo Burnham's Work
Here’s the thing about Bo Burnham. He’s smart.I pride myself on my intellectual abilities. I was always top of my class; I graduated with honors; I never had to worry about doing well on standardized tests. But Bo is scary smart. My wife and I have watched both of his specials, and one of the things we have talked about after watching and laughing at his performances is this premature intelligence that is blended with an emotional self-knowledge that is rare in someone so young. I know I didn’t have it when I was his age. I doubt I have it now.He has time to grow into it, and I think this book of poems, “Egghead,” may be showing some of what he may look like as a mature artist.Egghead intersperses poems that are on the surface easy – meter, unchallenging rhyme schemes, with fun pictures that tend towards the dirty. The poems tend that way too. One included in the volume, which was read in the special, extol the virtues of women with little virtue. I can’t print the title here.He stands poems like that – sophomoric, juvenile, what have you – with some deep and wise ones. There is a poem about women’s body images that knocked me flat. I won’t quote it here because it is short and you need to take that journey yourself.I can’t wait for whatever Bo has in store for us next, no matter what the medium.

you absolutely will not regret buying this book and if you do then you're dumb
I never write reviews for products, so this is a first but I felt some weird sort of obligation to do this. I've been admiring Bo Burnham's work for a few months now, so I'm not a super dedicated, long term fan by any means. I found a few of his standup videos a couple months ago and was so impressed by the depth of his comedy and even more so by the fact that he's in his early 20s. I find that people give him grief for being young and for coming from the internet but if you actually listen to his comedy, you can tell that it's very well thought out and that he's a very smart person, well beyond his years. So I bought the book, expecting it to be hilarious and well thought out, and thats exactly what it is. What impresses me the most is the variation that exists between the poems, not all of them are going to make you laugh. Some of them are pretty deep, and deal with serious issues and what I love is that he doesn't try to make you laugh every second you are reading it. He reaches this amazing level of introspection that is so palpable and relatable (at least for me) that blows my mind. That being said, you will laugh when you read this book. There are plenty of poems that had me doubled over in intense laughter. Bo's very talented and very dedicated, and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next, whatever it is I trust it will be spectacular. So basically, buy the book (it's good).

Shel Silverstein for adults...
...and thoughtful youths... who can handle a "dirty" word or ten... or fifty. Ahem. Yes, I know I abuse ellipses. Anyway, getting right to it, I really love this book (so far). It reminds me so much of those Shel Silverstein books I used to read as a kid. I preordered this book and just got it today. I'm only halfway through but gosh, even if the rest of the book is somehow awful, the former half will more than compensate. Seriously though, if the latter half is trash (or somehow significantly more amazing), I will come back and edit this review. The book is just so funny and fun and sometimes even deep and thoughtful and poignant, like the poem about the Stutterer. Mr. Burnham has a real way with, understanding of, and (ostensibly anyway) passion for, English words. He's basically a wordsmith and a damned funny one too. I'm so glad that, even though it isn't always free, he's willing to share his brain-gems with the world via multiple mediums. 4 not 5 stars because I wish there were some short narratives included... but maybe it's not fair to deduct a star just because the book isn't EXACTLY what I imagined... and maybe it is! 4 stars is very good! I would highly recommend this book and in fact am getting one for my younger brother who is a new freshman in college and finding himself endlessly bored these days.

Great for any fan.
My partner has been hinting at wanting this book for ages, he loves Bo Burnham and has been following him for years. It was one of his favourite presents and kept him chuckling for ages.

Thoroughly Enjoyable
Wonderful book, a big enough Bo Burnham fan as I am already although I believe this book would be a great read for anyone who enjoys comedy and/or poetry. The poems are well written and hilarious with some that are genuinely thought provoking and all enjoyable. Props to the illustrator too as it is done very well to create one pleasing piece of work which I occasionally dip into if I'm feeling bored or in need of a laugh

Ok?
It came next day when I delivered it. But it came and had dirt and the cover is a little crimpled over the top with some stains, (all good inside the book though).
