Micro SD TF Card Slot Socket Reader Board for Nintendo Switch NS NX Console Replacement

This part was so much smaller than I thought it was, Tho it was simple to install [just remove a few screws, pop out the old one, pop in the new on, screw everything back together] Tho do remember you need a Triwing screwdriver to remove the 4 screws on the back of the switch, this does not come with them, luckily I had that screwdriver set already. Also to remove the old SD card remember there is a tiny screw holding it in.Was a simple install, tho is best if you have good eyesight and a steady hand, my eyes are quite bad, so it took me a while to get all the screws back in.

Piece fit perfectly inside of my son's switch.

Installed it still shows no SD card installed, did detect the SD card being removed and re-inserted. Power off the switch and turn it back on, same result, no SD card detected. Trash it, and called Nintendo for repairs, $120.00 later got a new refurbished Switch back with a fully functioning SD card reader. The moral of this story is Nintendo Systems should be kept as a Nintendo System just cough up your hard-earned money and do it right.

Arrived quickly, parts are tiny, did not come with tools needed, so don’t forget order screwdriver needed. Working great so far for my son’s Nintendo Switch!

Great replacement for my Switch whose SD card reader gave out right after my warranty expiration. Important to note that this doesn’t come with the screwdrivers necessary to switch out the reader. So buy the appropriate screwdrivers if you don’t have em.

What we needed at the time and fixed one of the issues however now it seems more like a motherboard problem.

Works great! I needed a replacement for my Nintendo Switch, it has worked perfectly since the replacement!

Tried it to replace an intermittently working sd card reader in the switch. This replacement doesn't work. Put the old one back, works (again, intermittently) - switched it back a few times and nada.A shame.
