Will this make me look thinner?

Well, I don't want to get technical but technically speaking, according to the Dewey Decimal System, IF, and only IF, when you start the bike you grab a heaping handful of throttle anywhere between 3-8 times, or until the majority of the audience is looking at you, then proceed to shut the bike down to "check the oil" if you don't know where the dipstick is checking your "tire pressure" is a suitable replacement. Bend at the waist with your feet in a wide stance(the approximate angle between your legs should be somewhere around 27°-46°). THEN, and only THEN, Yes, technically, you will look thinner.

Question 2

If you're riding solo, how do you install the pad and keep the bike upright while you do it? Right now I carry a piece of  steel plate drop and park

Very funny answers!  Couple of things:  Just drop it on the ground and move it with your foot while leaning the bike a bit, remain seated, slide it under the stand with your foot.  If you're not the coordinated you shouldn't be riding a motorcycle :)   OR, drill a hole it, attach some string to it, lower it to the ground and then use your foot to put it under the stand.  Wrap the string around your handle bar.  This technique is handy when leaving since you pull the string up and the puck follows.

Will this work for my 10 speed bicycle? It doesn't have a kickstand

It is a displacement pad that stops kickstands from sinking into soft ground. If your bike does not have a kickstand, it will not work.

will  it fit the kick stand of a m109 r suzuki boulevard

It is good plastic, about 3" x 4" and will fit almost any side kickstand, if not all.  Also has a hole in it to put a string on it to pick it up from sitting sitting on the bike.  Good for a pad for soft ground or asphalt on a hot day.
