Should be available in 1/2 sizes
I wear 8 1/2 size women's shoe I had to order either a size up or down. I ordered up to a size nine am I'm on the fence about it. My heel is at the back where it should be but, there is an extra inch above my big toe making my feet look large. I have been having problems with mortons neuroma and the foot doctor said I should order square toes shoes in the size 8 1/2. 2 e wide. I believe the would be xx wide not sure since this is something new I have been experiencing. This sandal I ordered the widest with and it is just a bit to wide. The sandal is nice looking and the toe separators fit nice. I would try this in a different width to see if I like the way it fits. I will be checking out other sandals with toe separators and compare. The only advice I have for this sandal if you are interested in buying would be the width. I know sometimes it is just a guessing game, having to return items is frustrating. Hope this helps

Different in the cutest way!
I just love these sandals -- they're functional but uniquely good-looking all at the same time! Similar to yoga or spa sandals that keep your toes aligned for a healthier stride, these cuties also have a stretchy strap that goes across the top of your foot to keep them on securely. They look adorable and they're also well-made to last through multiple seasons. I'm 5'9" and typically take a 9 1/2, but it was suggested I order the next larger size. Nope -- turns out the 10 was just a little too large, and the 9 fits more snugly. But very happy with the look, functionality, and fit. A great find!

They're too narrow for me UPDATE: I "fixed" them!
I usually wear a 7 1/2 to 8 shoe, medium or wide depending on the style. WIth this shoe, the black material that goes between the toes also extends around the foot, along with the red leather. That fabric strip is very tight and it's fairly wide. It would probably cut off the circulation to my toes if I tried to force my foot into the shoe. If these shoes consisted of just that red leather strip like an ordinary pair of flip-flops, I'm pretty sure they would fit me fine. Sorry that I have to send them back.UPDATE: Turns out I'm keeping the sandals. I was preparing to package them for return, but then I took them out of the box one more time. I really was sorry to have to send them back. I pulled on that offending strip of black cloth to see if it might stretch out a bit and -- yikes! -- I felt something "give way. Great, now I broke it! On closer inspection, though, the black strap is actually made of elastic and it's moderately stretchy and very comfy, and once I broke whatever that was that popped, the shoe fit me perfectly. Nothing appeared to be broken(although I know something snapped.) So I "broke" the other one the same way. I don't know what that little constricting band is, but it snaps with very little pressureNow that the black strap is no longer too tight, I find these sandals are very comfortable. It wasn't obvious to me from the picture, but the red leather portion of this shoe is actually quite loose. It is attached to the separators that go between the great to space and the one next to it and it stands up a little bit over the black strap. That strap is attached to the separators that go between the other two spaces. There is nothing to rub your foot as you walk. The sandal is very stable on your foot.I'm a "barefoot" person with large gaps between my toes, so I don't have an issue with the toe separators being uncomfortable after a short while. I can see where you might need to get used to these if your feet spend a lot of time in conventional shoes, though. The bed of the sandal cradles my foot perfectly. I'm upgrading these sandals from a 3 to a 5. I think they're pretty fabulous, and way more attractive than some other sandals designed to separate the toes.UPDATE on March 21 -- I just ordered a second pair of these sandals, because after one month I'm finding these are the only shoes I want to wear. They are truly the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. The first few times I put them on, I had to "assist" my toes to get them into their proper slots, but after that I found I could just slip them on like any other sandal -- my toes had learned the routine. I can wear these sandals all day, if necessary, although in truth I prefer to be barefoot and I usually am. But yeah, definitely, these shoes were made for me. Having already purchased them in red, I considered getting a neutral color this time, but ultimately went with the lovely turquoise.Of course, I suppose I'll have to "break" these shoes just like the last ones, so they won't be too tight. This time I'll probably just attempt to wear them first and see what happens, though. It's not like I ever intended to break the first pair, I was only trying to see if that black part would stretch a bit. Maybe that strip that seemed to break rather easily will just stretch right out and fit my foot. In any event, whatever I broke has not caused any problem with the sandal and I can't even tell I did anything to it.

I love wearing these around - the toe separators are great
I love wearing these around - the toe separators are great, and keep my feet from cramping up throughout the day. The only negative is how high the arch is - I have recovering arches - my arches fell years ago, and I've been working to rebuild them, but they are still low. I find having the really high arch with these shoes, if I try to wear them all day, say running around for errands? I will definitely have foot fatigue by the end of the day. But for shuffling around the house, and being able to slide my feet in and out of them as needed? They are perfectly suited to that purpose! I'd imagine if you have a naturally high arch, these would be better for wearing around in though.

Great for hammertoe alignment.
These were purchased for my mom who recently had foot surgery to repair a hammertoe. They help keep the toes aligned, looking much better than regular thong sandals.

comfy
Super comfortable sandals... the strap adds to the comfort. Much better than flipflops.

Good support
Like the support. Quality not quite as good as I expected for the price.

Could be better.
Difficult to put on. Does help arthritic toes. Makes noise. Does not stay on as well as they should. All of which creates even more painful price issues.
