Wordy, boring, and not all that short
Terrorism: A Very Short Introduction is wordy, boring, repetitive, and not all that short. It covers the topic decently, but I just found myself wanting to be done with it. Most of what it talks about is rather obvious. I don’t recommend it unless there are no other options. It’s not worth the time it takes to read.

I had to buy this for a class and I found it hard to read, but then again I am only a PoliSci minor so I'm sure it is a really good book.

Excellent
As always with this series, this is an excellent detailed introduction. Useful for my English Literature dissertation on Shakespeare and extremism.

Detailed yet brief
Gave excellent case studies, was very detailed for a short introduction and overall managed to help me get a base knowledge of the social and political motives behind terrorist actions.

Clear and scholarly - recommended
Just what I needed. Quite dense and scholarly but covers the points clearly. Not very short, but concise.
