Thayers Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera, Original Astringent 12 oz

I bought this to put on after shaving, before putting on after shave. Guess what, I found out I don't really need aftershave once this has been applied. I still use aftershave for the scent, and I guess it's nice to have a bit of alcohol burn afterwards, but Witch Hazel does an amazingly good job of sealing up the pores and getting you on your way. For days when having a scent on is inappropriate, this is a perfect product for shaving. It really does give you 95 to 100 % of what you'd need from an aftershave, with basically no smell and no irritation.

I use Thayer Witch Hazel after I get out of the shower and/or shaving (also mid-day for a nice pick-me-up sensation). It lasts a long time and all you need are some cotton balls; or dry, cotton, facial pads. Sometimes going with the old time-tested is all you need. Personally I love the way it smells too, it really has a cool, refreshing, cleansing feel. After I use Thayer Witch Hazel, I air dry my face by (wafting my hands), and follow up with a quality moisturizer (Anthony Brand). I was hooked after the first use. A true throwback to the barbershop days of old. For the real gents.

I have this sitting on my end table and every evening when I come in from work, I use cotton balls and remove all my makeup while sitting on my couch watching tv. this witch hazel is my favorite way to remove all my make up. I have very oily skin and love the way my face feels afterwards. its' never irritated my eyes and I wear a lot of black eyeliner and this witch hazel removes all the black. it's an evening ritual and this aloe vera formula is my favorite. excellent product and great service. :)

I recently used my daughter's to cleanse my scalp bc I have braids. & it worked wonders. So I used it again to cleanse my face. Loved it! My face & neck. They both felt clean but not dry. I'm loving this for those uses. So I had to purchase my own. There are several kinds out, but this original with aloe is my choice!

I can't say enough great things about this toner. I use it after a shower and as a refresher. Ever since I've started using this, my random breakouts have decreased dramatically and I love that it's all natural too. It's also very hydrating and not as expensive as other department store brands that I've used in the past. I'm honestly so happy I found this! I wish I would've known about it as a pimply teenager, it would've saved me so much grief!

I have always had a really bad problem with dry skin, especially on my face. A friend of mine told me about witch hazel and said Thayer's was the only way to go. I have been using it for three weeks now after every shower, and it clears up the dry skin immediately, without the greasy feeling and breakouts I can get from lotions. The only problem I might have is that the bottle I got says "alcohol free", and is green, unlike the bottle in the picture. I have however used witch hazel just like the one in the picture (my friends) and both bottles work just the same.

Personally, I really like this toner and this is my first time to write reviews. I used to have severe acne( I would say 8 out of 10) and very sensitive skin. And I am that kind of persons who never trust the cheap products. After reviewing all these kinds of good reviews, I decided to give a try. I use it every single day and it makes me feel clean and fresh. I usually use this after I wash my face and then put lotion on. Sometimes, I will just leave it on my face for 30 mins by using the condensed mask. After all these years trying new products, this is one of my favorites.

I use this product both morning and night after cleansing my face and already started to see results. Not only is starting to shrink my pores, I also like that it is not drying. If anything, it is adding the right amount of moisture to my skin.

Thayer is a little expensive, I’m sure partly because they seem to be the only ones selling pure witch hazel with no alcohol. It works great, for bruises, as toner, as a mouth rinse (has anesthetic quality so good for gum irritation) and a few other things. I’m loyal, but honestly I think it should be a couple dollars less.
