I bought these for my milkshake loving husband and 4 kids, and for me who was tired of wasting money on throw away straws. I am so pleased with these! They remind me of the wider fast food straws, not the dinky narrow ones. I can see us using these for years to come and I'm back to Amazon to buy more for when we have guests over because I am not buying plastic straws again.With our young kids I can even see us using these to roll out playdoh and other uses. Since they are stainless steel I'm not concerned about them breaking and they went through our dishwasher like a breeze. I could even sanitize without worry. The included scrub brush is awesome and appears strong. Reminds me of the scrub brush we got with out Dr. Brown bottles 3 years ago that's still in great shape. Very happy with this purchase!

I am poziteev (ha-ha. Get it?) that stainless steel straws are great. Easy to clean, practically indestructible, transfers no taste like yucky plastic, environmentally beneficial, and inexpensive. I even think they make my seltzer taste better. Gave some as stocking stuffers, and kept two for myself to add to my collection. Literally, nothing negative to say about this product. These are more than worth every penny!

The straw quality is definitely excellent, and they're keepers....but:1: They could stand to be a little bit longer. Not much sticks out of most of the tall insulated mugs we use for smoothies.2. They could stand to be a little larger diameter. .3" may sound wide but I certainly don't think it qualifies for being called 'extra-wide'. They are just a bit small for very thick shakes/smoothies. Bits of fruit tend to clog them...which wouldn't happen as much it they were just a bit wider.(I'm submitting this for a second time. The first one was not published)

These are great! I was very happy to find them, as I hate using plastic straws. My grandmother used to have glass straws, but those would be problematic with two young boys! These are the perfect solution for us -- and 100% dishwasher safe! They are great for milkshakes and smoothies, because they are cold and help keep the drink cold, too (for a little while, anyway).

These are fantastic! I have a sensitivity to something in plastic and can't use any of those tumblers/cups/bottles with any plastic pieces. I found glasses with metal lids and ordered these to replace the plastic straws that came with them. They fit perfectly (I did measure beforehand), and I can't wait to use them! Would definitely order again if I needed 6 more. Packaged with a bristly brush to help clean them.

Not a lot can be said about these. They are just short lengths of stainless steel pipe. They finished nicely. No rough edges to cut or irritate your mouth. I'm not sure how long the cleaning brush will last but we are careful to rinse them immediately after use so they do not require intense scrubbing to remove dried or sticky liquids.

I like these because I am trying to cut down on trash. These are better than plastic ones for carrying around in my purse. They are still lightweight, but strong enough to not get smashed and such in my purse. So, when we go out we don't have to use and throw away straws. Yay!

excellent in all ways. no more buying, storing large quantities, and then struggling with weak, thin and throw-away quality product. I'm set for life. solid for stirring and drinking thick shakes or smoothies and very FUN! ez clean solid brush
