sweet lounger
Got this on sale. Used over a couple of days floating, sunning, drinking at the lake. Easy to fill and deflate. Comfortable for 2 adults and a few beverages. Attached 'cooler' not terribly functional to keep things cold, but neat. The relaxation and enjoyment gained using this just a few times makes it worth it. Did not seem to lose air over the 2 days, will see how it holds up after storing for the winter.

10/10!
This float is exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for to use on our casual river floats! We didn't do any crazy floats with and sort of rapids mind you, but this float has been completely reliable! We used it probably 10-15 times for our 3hr lazy floats this summer and it never had a durability issue. There were no leaks and it also came with some patches of there were ever any punctures. Great value for the price! I also see that tons of other people use the same float on our river! The cooler actually has a pretty great capacity. If you want to keep things cool you have to use a lot of ice which will melt pretty quickly but my boyfriend and I didn't mind! The water we float in is cool enough to keep our drinks cool anyway. This is a float for adults btw! There was some confusion on my end when I was trying to decide whether or not to order - but yes! This is an adult sized float.

Pretty good for the money.
Pro Tip: Inflate it the day before you use it (you can use an air mattress blower) and let it sit in the sun or something for a little while. You'll notice it "stretch" out and the material will loosen up a bit, then inflate it some more. We inflated ours like 30 minutes before we were in the river and by the time we got to there it was like like we only inflated it half way up because the material stretched out and heated up in the sun. It's not too difficult to blow up by mouth, but because it's large it will take a while. We had to stop and blow ours up by mouth a few minutes in. It does have a 1 way cap on top of the main valve so that was nice. I would also consider using the big compartment for dry storage instead of just dumping ice and drinks in it, and sit a small cooler in the little pocket. The little open pocket in the middle is maybe 12 x 5 inches give or take a couple of inches. The covered compartment is about 1 x 1 ft (we had 10lbs of ice to start, a 12 pack of ice (the tall cans/variety pack) 8 small dasani waters and a 20 oz bottle of water and there was still a little room) and has a drain plug in the bottom of it. If the raft is not inflated enough the open pocket may get water in it as you get in or out of the raft as well, and it does not drain so you'll have to scoop it out :). Material isn't super durable feeling but it did good dragging across rocks several times in the river. For 30 bucks its pretty solid. The connectors and side roping they include are a nice addition as well.

Durable and fun on the go!
Ordered two sets of these to use for river floating in Washington state and am so glad I did! Took these babies out about 4 times this summer and by the second trip covered the cost of what I would have spent if we were renting tubes! If you only go one time with less than 2 people, may not be worth the money for you. Pros: Very durable-scraped over rocks several times with the weight of two full adults (both over 175 lbs and two in the other both over 225 lbs) and no leaks. Has built in cooler with release valve underneath to let out any collected water (or melted ice..) 2 drink holders, cooler, and uncovered section in the center provide more than enough storage for all your river floating needs Held up to heavy usage by two adults, with the occasional kid in the center, AND a dog-more than once.. Mesh seats under each hole that is great for helping to not lose items while floating and just comfortable One way valve that makes it easy to add air even while floating if needed (can get a lil less full in cold water) and just as easy to deflate by opening the whole valve Cons: These suckers are heavy!-but totally worth it for the durability Not easy to pack back up. Would suggest getting a heavy duty mesh bag to tote these beasts. Would suggest using a battery or electric pump if possible. Will take a long time with the hand pump and an amazing set of lungs and more time that I'd like to spend if inflating by mouth. Even with a good pump it took about 8 minutes to blow up the main compartment and required the use of the hand pump to get it to the desired firmness. A lot of separate compartments to blow up- which is a con for time, but a pro for still being able to float to the shore if you spring a leak! Would recommend to anyone who likes to just load up the car and go float that doesn't want to rely on a rental company for transportation and save money while enjoying the time outdoors!

Wonderful for floating, bad for maneuvering on the high seas
This is the second time I have bought a River Run 2 inflatable device for recreational purposes. The first River Run 2 I bought (not sure the "generation" or "manufacturing run") was set up very similar to this one, but did not last more than one trip down the river. The river I am speaking about is the Spokane river, which is a very calm river that is only 2-3 feet deep in some places. We are not talking white water rafting here, as I would NOT recommend this device for any heavy-duty water sports like that. When it comes to leisurely floats on the lake or on a calm river, go for it! I had to reduce this product by 1 start because of previous reliability issues with this product line. This is a newer version of the device than what I had previously and it set up slightly differently. I actually like this version much better, because it has a nice area in the middle where you can put your waterproof devices that you might want to carry along with you (such as a Go-Pro or waterproof camera/phone). The netting seems pretty sturdy and the thickness/gauge of the rubber used for this device is of good quality. I would still try to avoid going over any rocks with this device, because the seams are something to be questioned, but for everyday floating it should suffice. This newer version also comes with a clip system to attach multiple devices together quite easily and also rope to run around the device for that added security and safety. On previous version this clip-together system didn't exist, so you had to tie rafts together if you were floating as a group. This is an improvement in design. The cooler itself works well and all elements are easy to inflate using an electric/manual air pump. I would not recommend inflating the device itself manually, although inflating the cooler section and the seat backs you can do yourself without a pump. I would recommend doing it that way because those pieces hold so very little air that it may be overkill to use a pump. If you try to manually inflate the main compartment then I hope you have lungs of iron and a head of steel, because you will be dizzy by the end of the day! The device also has sturdy handles at both ends, so transporting it when fully pumped is easy. This also helps when you are mounting/dismounting the device while in the water. Do not depend on this device, though, as a life-support system! Its not meant for the high seas or any of that nonsense. I would recommend bringing some paddles along with you if you want to float in the middle of a lake, for instance, because paddles are not included with this device and you could easily float off and get stranded in the middle of nowhere while on this thing due to its size and limited maneuverability. Have fun out there!

Comfortable & durable; perfect tube.
I love this tube SO MUCH. We bought it about a year ago and have used it many times. It's quite durable; one time we took it down a faster river with many tree roots and rocks sticking out of the banks and even though we hit several things, it never popped or got damaged. It's so comfortable and the cooler is perfect. The seat parts are large and you can either stretch your legs out or or curl your legs up inside them. We have actually started putting our own small cooler in the middle and putting our towels and belongings in waterproof bags in the built-in cooler to keep them drier. UPDATE: I originally bought this tube in June 2018. It has finally bit the dust in May 2020. Two great seasons (plus two trips this season) of many amazing rides on the river; we definitely got our money's worth. It got two holes in it at once on the underside along seams. I didn't take great care of it, but I imagine if you are careful with it, dry it afterwards, and store it well it would last even longer. I would recommend you bring a patch kit on the river in case of this kind of thing.

Great buy!!
Great product! Was easy to blow up and it held up very well in the hot sun for hours. Comfortable to sit in and the cooler is deep enough for a couple packs of beers and ice Great product and would buy again!

2nd purchase
We had fun with first one. It was stolen so we bought another. I wouldn't run a river with it but for floating together on a lake on a hot day it's idyllic and tomanyic
