Wonderful book on copywriting. Phenomenal example after phenomenal example of fantastic copy. Very good all in all, has shaped me as a copywriter and made me smile many a time.

Probably a good book if you know what copywriting is.
I picked up this book because I liked the cover, and because it said "Designed to help anyone who works with words improve their writing". I work with words. In the introduction, the book explained why they chose the third person plural pronoun, we. I've never lived in a world where "we" is anything but a first person plural pronoun. When I got past the intro, it seemed to be all about advertising, and it talked about copywriting. I don't know what copywriting is. It did not explain what copywriting is. It just said I should want to be great at it. I am giving it 3 stars because the book's description does not correctly describe the contents. Both here and on the book cover.

So useful and full of inspiring examples
I can't believe this hasn't been reviewed yet, I feel as if this book is a mini encyclopedia of the best copies I've ever seen. Also, as a whole, at least for me, has been like a bomb of good techniques to improve my writing. One of the best investments I've made.

Deserves a spot on your bookshelf
Ideal for those trying to break into the industry and also for those who just enjoy great writing. The copywriting examples in this book are outstanding and cover everything from poster to packaging. There's also lesson plans and exercises towards the end to further your skills. This has quickly become one of my favourite advertising books.
