Strong Security Bars
The bar is for child safety. However I used it on a skylight. Seem strong enough to me. Also the way security are defeated is by using a car jack to separate the bars. Since this has a welded bar in the middle a car jack may not work as well for the bad guys.

Kitties are safe in the house!
My kitties like to sit in the windows, as cats do. They respect the screens as legitimate boundaries but I worried that they might pop the screens out just leaning on them. These were a genius fix. I can pop them in the window frame and then the cats can't accidentally fall out. The opening are large enough that if they squeezed they could get out of it if it was the only barrier but it's more for piece of mind that an unintentional fall couldn't happen.
