Really enjoyed this book. Useful framework for policy research and recommendations.

Excellent!! Extremely useful to guide research students. Great combination of structure, alternative sensitivity and references. Definitely a credit to the topic.

I have used this in a masters level class in public policy research methods, where the native language is not English. Useful, I thought, to the point, covers sophisticated theories with a few clear paragraphs, provides useful tables and references. I still think it is excellent for public policy advocacy (not more scholarly objectives). However, my non-native English speaking students have not read it. Whether it is the small type, the insistence on its own instrument of analysis (Policy Wheels), or, indeed, its very excellence, the use of precise language and emphasis on evidence-based arguments, this book has not had the impact I sought. They don't read it, although it is exactly what is required.

Wonderful insight into the turbulence that policy development may create.
