Surprisingly, this was very heavy duty and good quality magnet board. It really helps children understand and visualize chore charts or responsibilities. I would recommend purchasing this. I would say it’s good for all ages. Easy to use, love the different magnetic labels for which chores are available. The accessories that came with it were good quality. This really changed our ability to do nighttime routine because it helps us keep the kids account

This product was exactly as described. I started using it immediately and it’s created and exciting environment for my kids to want to do certain chores. With toddlers that get into everything it’s extremely durable not easily to remove or tear. The ability to change with the dry erase and to change as needed have made this an incredible purchase.

This magnetic responsibility chart has been a great hit with all our kids. It has increased their willingness to help with chores around the house while earning a prize at the end. The markers that come with it are nice to use if there isn’t a pre-defined chore magnet that you want. For example, one of my kids cuts the lawn and we used the marker to make that a chore. Some of the pre-defined chores such as brushing your teeth, helping with dishes and doing homework are some of our main chores that have a pre-defined magnet. I will say that this chore board is more aimed at toddlers/early kindergarteners, however, with the markers it’s easy to make your own chores to fit your needs. The chore board is magnetic and so far, has stuck well on our fridge. The magnetic stars and chore magnets stick great, too. The downside to these magnets is that the stars have some type of foam in between the magnet and the star image, and when pulling them from the magnet cutout, the little paper stars separated from the foam/magnet, so some of our stars are just plain white which is kind of a bummer. I wish these stars were already separated from the magnet sheet when we received it, so for that reason and the fact the paper stars are easily separated from the magnet, I’m removing a star. Overall, it’s helping me get a few more house chores done, and my kids are learning that you can’t just get freebies in life all the time and that you must earn it.

I was very surprised by the quality of this item. It is much sturdier and better made than expected. I got this to use with my four-year-old nephew who suffers from impulse control issues. Having a visual aid to help him track, his behavior and choices works very well for him. I like the fact that we can also use our own areas of emphasis for him to work on in addition to the ones that come pre-printed.

This chore chart was purchased because my husband and I work two jobs and the kids needed to start helping out around the house more. Two of my three kids actually will sometimes wake up early on a school day to make extra time to do some extra chores. I also love that there are behaviors on it such as "no mean words" which is a big thing especially for my 13 year old. And you can add your own things on there as well! The kids are overall behaving more and helping out around the house a ton. We've decided to put a dollar amount on the stars. Every 5 stars = $1 We look up the item they want to work towards and round up to the nearest 5 or 0 (to account for tax) and then multiply that by 5 to see what they need to earn. We've also started a "credit card" version as well because my 13 year old wanted us to front her some stars to buy something right now and earn the stars back towards that item. So if they ask for a prize upfront and we agree to purchase it, they have to pay 20% interest (which is pretty much the average for credit cards these days) on the cost. So a 50 dollar item at 250 stars now becomes a 60 dollar item at 300 stars. I feel like they are learning so much between responsibility and managing money with this!

We're happy with this item. The quality is good; all items stick to the fridge well. Most importantly, it's motivating to our kids to complete the activities to earn stars - especially our 5 year old (more so that our 8 year old). It was worth the price. When their friends come over for a playdate they wanted to participate in the actiivities too, acting as teammates to earn stars.
