Although this book was reasonably priced, I still felt I paid way too much for the, in essence, 42 pages of actual information, much of which, however, was redundant. Other faults include lack of definitions. Just a fewexamples. Page 14 refers to "washi" tapes. I, for one, as a beginner have no clue what a "washi" tape is. Page 13 - what is a modiste shop? Page 21 - what is milk paint? Just regular milk with water? If so, what is the dilution ratio? The pictures are black and white making it difficult to differentiate the actual project from the background and much too small to be helpful. It is also rife with grammatical errors and misspellings. Obviously self-published, the author, who I suspect is foreign-born and does not yet have a comprehensive command of American English, would do well to hire a professional editor and proofreader before publishing. Overall the book was the basest of basic and not really helpful. Where it might have been helpful, it couldn't, due to the poor presentation of photos.

I rarely leave a bad review, but, this tiny little book isn't worth the price and I couldn't get my money back! I was seven days to late opening this box, and this book was sooooo tiny, not worth ordering! I know it was my fault, but, I should be able to request it back! this little bitty book is not worth my money! Next time, i will remember to check the pages, had it been good info, yes, but geez, so freaking basic. yes, you need paper to scrap, yes you need scissors.

This is exactly what it says...a scrapbook for beginners. It's an excellent way to understand the basics and the terminology of scrapbooking, especially if you don't have the time to take a class or aren't sure that scrapbooking is for you.

I blame myself for not reading the reviewsThe photos they show you as examples are black and white so you can't see what they're trying to show you. They show some basic stuff that you can easily YouTube. Don't waste your money like I did.

Paperback addition is very disappointing and poor. Scrapbooking is a visual art, though the book has very little illustrations, which are black and white and of utterly poor quality. Sheer frastration!

One star id being generous... don't waste your money (like I did). I DID read some of the reviews, which seemed to be mostly positive, but when I received this "book", I could've gotten better info if I looked up "how to scrapbook" on You Tube...

Very poorly written. the only color in the entire book is the cover. Illustrations inside are poor quality black and white. Would NOT reccommend.

I feel a little cheated with this book, brought it for my grand daughter to give her some ideas on scrapbooking, the photos are tiny and everything is in black and white. It certainly is not given me any initiative to even read it. Not even sure why they have bothered to publish it and its not cheap at £7.99, I would not have paid 99p for it if I had seen it on a shelf in a shop.

The text is fine and helpful but the photos are so bad they are funny!! The photos are so unclear and so dark it is impossible to see what they are.

Very poor value for the price. I got it as a present for someone and am now too embarrassed to give it. Small and thin. Not worth more than £2.99. Very disappointed.

I did not like the scrapbooking for beginners. that I received. It does not have big pictures so I need a magnify glass to see them. I am not please at all
