I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent workmanship of this product. And the slide-out base that allows you to completely enclose the tissue box inside rather than just place a cover 'over it' is ingenious and perfectly functional. I added felt-dots to each corner of the bottom of the box to ensure it does not scratch wooden furniture surfaces. The design on top is understated and pretty and the wood-look blends in so well in our oak-floor house - that just the tissue poking out of the top is apparent when you scan the room. I like it so much that I may order another! I only wish it also came in the smaller rectangular box size (although as the description states, it accommodates both 'short' (120?) and 'tall' (240?) rectangular tissue boxes comfortably). I had also ordered the square version of this box at the same time and am equally happy with it.

Seems like a nice tissue box, the sliding floor on the bottom of the box slides and works fine. It fits a box of Kleenex Trusted Care tissues from Costco perfectly! That box of tissue measures, 9" long x 4 3/4 wide x 4 3/4 tall. I believe this is the largest box of tissues you can buy, but don't hold me to that! I did put a small set of self-adhesive rubber bumpers I bought here at Amazon on the bottom to keep it from sliding on a wood table. If you put on rubber bumpers, be mindful of the floor of the wood box sliding in and out to change empty tissues boxes. On that end of the box you may want to put the bumpers about a 1/4" in from that end of the box. I paid full price and have no affiliation with the company at all!

My previous review hasn't shown up -- I hope that this one isn't removed. The box is beautiful, and if it worked, I would give it 5 stars. However, someone at the factory glued the bottom sliding cover into its channels, so the box cannot be opened at the bottom to place in the tissues. Worthless! Look at other review -- other people have had the same problem.

When I first opened the package I thought it would be too big, but it fits the large family size Costco Kleenex box perfectly. It is snug enough that the box doesn't move around. The top of the Kleenex box barely shows through the opening, actually hardly noticeable. The door on the bottom was very tight, so much so that I thought I must have gotten one of the ones that people said was glued shut. But it did open up. The fit is very tight so a little soap on the edges helped. I feel that with time it will loosen up some more. I very rarely do reviews, but I am so very pleased with this I just had to say that I would highly recommend it.

I really like the look of this kleenex box. The inlay was beautifully done and the quality was great. I would definitely recommend it! So much classier than the paper boxes that they come in. Just open the lid and pop the box inside.

It’s beautiful and the standard tissue box fits perfectly. Having the secure bottom in it keeps the tissue box in place.

Nice cover minor crack but unoticible

Box is beautiful, much better than the picture! I really like the dark color and carved in details. The brass inlays are well done. I am thrilled with my purchase.
