My1stPet TB-161 Bird Cage, Black/Silver

I received it today.PROS :Strong IRON.....Nice height.....Beautiful........several doors.........easy to clean floor..........CONS:Very poor assembly instructions.......It took 2 hours to assemble it right.......two rails piping rodes are for the lower part only....I had assembled them on top..........Similarly roof brackets are confusing.....had to change them also to fit them on TOP........Rooof is sepearte. You just have to put it on TOP..........Any strong wind can take off the roof since it has no screw or any thing available to tie it with the body. I had put extra wires to tie roof with the cage body.......took lot of time to figure out how to do it clean...............

Nice cage, received in good condition with the exception of a dent in the pan which my husband managed to somewhat fix - but, of course, it is in the front of the cage and still noticeable. I wish the description had provided the size of the front doors (or I had asked about the size of the front doors) prior to ordering. I am using the cage for sugar gliders and the front doors are too small to put branches, wheels, and other accessories into the cage. I also wish it had a wire roof on the top of the cage, under the peak roof. Assembly instructions could have been better, it was definitely put one piece in, take two out and start over.

The cage itself is everything I expected a cage like this to be. Here were the issues. The box arrived with one side ripped open and some of the contents were dented. We were able to straighten out the dents to our satisfaction. Now, as for the included instructions...they were just plain horrible. We took out the instructions to a similar bird cage we have and used those! So, to sum it up, nice cage, but needs sturdier packaging and much better directions.

These directions are so difficult, I've been working on this thing for 2 hours and I have to take it apart yet again. I did not expect me o be making this all day. It's a great cage but seriously, these directions have no direction.

Good value. Probably not the right cage for finches, though. Finches need a short, wide cage for frequent flying. Top does not secure to base and there is a gap, so be careful. Two of my finches escaped.

Overall the assembly is very nice. I see a lot of people complaining about the cage having HUGE gaps or unsealable openings, honestly I have no idea what they are talking about, everything locks down securely and their are no loose parts. I would attribute most peoples issues to poor assembly skills. It is awesome that this cage came with its own mountable feeders and a removable bottom tray.

was very easy to assemble and looked like the picture. The only problem we had was that there is 1/2-3/4 inch spacing between the roof and the corners and it is small enough for finches to escape. The finches love the big cage but have escaped 2x before we realized where they were getting out.
