I would not call this a jump rope, it is more like a jump cable. While I was easily able to adjust to my height, the cable becomes twisted after a few minutes and you have to stop and untwist which is easy. If you hold the extra cable with the handles, the cable doesn't twist as much. It is a good start for getting back to jumping as I am not a spring chicken by any means.

I heard that jump ropes were a new great way to lose weight or get fit with better results, so I thought that I would give it a try. When I received my jump rope, i was a little confused at what to do at first because I had never worked out with a jump rope before. Yet after I looked up some videos on youtube, I really enjoyed using the jump rope, as long as you have a routine down, it's kind of fun to do while listening to energizing music or a fast paced movie. I think it works, and you should all give it a shot. Plus I really like the light weight feature of this particular jump rope.

This is a worthless jumping rope. Instead of the rope protruding from the end of the handles, they protrude from the side of the handles. An idiot must have designed this jumping rope. Once I received it, I immediately returned it, since I could see that there was no way that it could be used as a jump rope. Besides that, the rope is extremely thin and thus is impractical.

I generally feel like im too nice with my reviews, but what can I say, my experience so far has been great! This rope is an 100% would recommend. I would give this rope as a gift to my closest friends and family. That is how happy I feel about it. Ive been using it for a week now and can assure you it feels great to work out with this, so easily and whenever I have time.

I loved this rope for the first couple weeks until my brain made the connection that I was messing up far more of my crossovers than I did with my previous jump rope. I think it's due to the fact that when crossing over, the angle prevents the handles from spinning freely, thus creating a twist in the rope and ending your crossover routine.I have not experienced the same problem with ropes that feature ball bearings that allow the rope to turn right next to the bearing, rather than a small distance away from the bearing, which induces said angle problems.

It's been years - uh, decades - since I jumped rope. Construction, weight and quality of jump ropes have really changed. I wanted a to add something quick to a schedule that includes pickleball, track and field, and a Bayou workout machine. This is quick, fun and a good workout. I like the light weight and the ability to alter the length for others. I like that it includes an extra cable and hardware.I haven't tried to get the freebie vids and workout book yet. I'm enjoying it as-is.
