They just don't go soft enough to make it easy for a child to do it
My 9 and 11 year old sons play rugby and every Sunday morning it is the same cries - "where is my gum shield?" We have gone through soooooo many gum shields I can tell you I know A LOT about gum shields. Many junior shields we still need to trim the length - but these we don't. They are the right size for a child. Every gum shield, except this one, is difficult to mould even when soaked in boiling water. They just don't go soft enough to make it easy for a child to do it, but this one does. After a few seconds to cool enough to put in the mouth once soaked in boiling water, many gum shields go back to being rock hard plastic. This one is still soft enough to mould without burning the mouth. The price means I buy a few at a time and leave them unmoulded in the cupboard ready for the next Sunday morning when they can't find their gum shield again!

Moulds well
My son, who has just started high school, and is trying for the rugby team, loves this. It seemed to mould well, following the instructions carefully, and he likes the novelty of the minty taste, which is not too strong. Just fresh. Not used it for long so can't comment on durability, but so far so good.

Rubbish
Rubbish. Followed instructions re fitting but it shrivelled up and surface was too rough and bumpy to fit properly in mouth. Minty taste was nice apparently but it was useless as an actual mouthguard. Wasn't going to leave a negative review as did contact seller twice but got no response.

Do not waste your money. I wish I had not bothered.
This failed to mould properly twice, infact it tiwsted out of shape, failed to stay on at all.. It really is not worth the money. I shall be binning the one I bought and getting something better.

Worth buying
Nice, very good to mould. Fits well and comfortable. The taste isn't that clear but it is still a nice gum guard. Worth buying!
