24 Pack Eggs Baby Legion Dinosaur Excavation Kit

These were so great as favors to my son's dino-themed birthday party. The eggs are a decent size and each one comes packaged with two tools--one wooden "chisel" and a brush. My daughter dug hers out right away and had a lot of fun at it. I was surprised that the actual dinosaur itself was really cute and not just a cheap plastic toy. Granted, it's probably a cheap ceramic or clay toy, but it's something that we'll likely keep along with our other dino toys, versus something we'd just toss out right away. I've attached a pic of the dino carved out.

My kids LOVED these but cleaning was impossible. It was like a clay texture and so hard to clean. I had to have them scrub in order to get it off of them... but they played for about an hour with them. It was very entertaining for the kids though. They were baby dinosaurs in a tiny egg. I wouldn't think it would be good for kids to breath this in.

There is not any information as to who the manufacturer is and what the eggs are made of. The eggs fall apart when opening and the debris and dust is spread around. It does not clean up with soap and water. So what is the material and is it safe. I do not think so.
