Excellent General Tool Kit
Synopsis - Affordable, reliable, and varied this tool kit is not mechanic grade but will get you through the small tasks you bought it for.I was looking for an affordable tool kit I could keep in my classroom for all the small projects and fixes that need to happen throughout the school year. I was initially worried that this tool kit would be comprised of small, cheap tools that would not hold up under pressure. For the price everything told me that this would be exactly what I paid for, cheap and disposable.I am happy to say that I've already put the drivers, hammer, wrenches, and plyers to the test helping people in their classrooms before the school year started. We fixed the heights of boards, replaced picture frame holders, realigned boards, and repaired some equipment that had been broken by the summer cleaning crews. At no point did the tools feel like they were inadequate for the task nor did I feel like they may give way while we were working. In short, I felt like I was using my expensive craftsman tools I keep at home.Again, this kit is certainly not going to replace the expensive tools you know and love, but it will be a nice compliment on the road, in the office, or where ever you need to have a nearly full tool kit.5 Handy Stars out of 5!

Metric
Tools look very nice but I didn’t realize the wrenches and sockets are all metric. I bought these to leave at my girlfriend’s house and hope I don’t regret this.

Very pleased and ordered a 2nd one.
Bought one for Christmas 2022 for 12 year old grandson. Like it so well that I bought a 2nd one for the younger grandson for Christmas 2024. These toolsets will have lifetime value and will be especially handy when they move on to a dorm or 1st apartment.

Flashlight and hammer are a joke
I liked the assortment of tools included, most of which were medium grade at best, but pro grade definitely was not expected. We bought this tool set as a housewarming gift for a fairly newly wed couple that had absolutely no tools to speak of. That being said, this set will probably come in handy until they can afford to buy some nice name brand items like De Walt, Milwaukee or Craftsman to replace this starter kit. But still there were three items in the kit that definitely were plain old junk. The inspection before shipping is non-existent or the flashlight and current testing tool would have never made it in the kit. Neither one worked. We were going to add batteries so the cheap plastic flash light would at least work, but the bottom spring, which was inaccessible and glued in sideways at the bottom of the flashlight rendered it unusable, as the flashlight could not be screwed back together with batteries in it without stripping the already faint threads. We threw this piece of plastic in the trash as the batteries were worth more than the flashlight. The hammer was also a complete joke, as it was so lightweight and the handle so small that this hammer would only fit the most petite female hands. My hands which are average for a man, swallowed up the hammer so as to make it look like a kids toy in my hand. The head of the hammer was held on by a set small screw! Good luck on hammering any thing but small picture nails into drywall with this thing. Last but not least, the screwdriver that has a small light in it which is supposed to detect electrical currents, did not work out of the box. We left it in the kit to fill a spot that would have been empty, as I could not find one at Home depot to match the size opening. We received this tool kit the day of the house warming, so I kept it....if I had an extra couple of days this would have gone back. Lesson learned order plenty of time ahead. I went to the hardware store and bought a $2.00 metal LED flashlight to replace the cheap plastic one, and a couple of AA batteries to keep from being totally embarrassed when they opened the package. Not so good of an experience. Would not buy again.
