Dee Weeder - Hand Weeding Tool - Cast Aluminum Multi-purpose Garden Tool Set (DWEED1-K2)

Not sure I'm using it right. My soil is too hard.

This is a really big but very lightweight tool that will last for many years as it is die cast aluminum. I've used it daily this summer, putting a lot of pressure on it while creating new garden beds and it looks like new still. I've had so many tools that bend or break and that just aint gonna happen with this one. While it is a good weeder it is way more all purpose than that. I use it to add and lift soil, till beds, pull out small rocks, cut roots, plant new starts, etc. It washes off with a quick rinse and needs no special care. It is worth every penny I paid for it. Note: Its now the summer of 2018 and this is still one of my favorite garden tools. Still healthy and handsome. It really is not going to break. It is one of the tools I most recommend to other gardeners who are not familiar with it already!

Very happy! Heavy duty tool. Great for getting the pieces of "stuff" out of the garden. Not too heavy but very sturdy.

Have only used it once, but am going to love it. Find it saves time.

I have just ordered this tool which I've seen in a few garden catalogs and the descriptions/reviews are outstanding. I read only one 3 star review sharing they didn't know how to use it and thought maybe the soil was to hard! Certainly not review of the tool, more personal.If I have a garden tool I can use for many different parts/projects in my garden that is sharp, simple to use and will stand up under pressure and is strong and not to heavy is a Gardner's Dream! To have a tool to look forward to using as you establish your gardens, this is it! I suggest to all reading this review to quickly order one now! Don't wait because not only will the price increase, but availability might be low as avid Gardner's discover this workhorse (did I mention the handle is cushioned) even! The users all claim this tool is a long lasting tool for being built out of tough/long lasting materials even.I don't know if you know this is excellent at our toughest weeds,rocks and unwanted grass in a snap and can be considered a hoe, cultivates, mixes, spreads, rakes and can even clean the uneven edges in the garden beds. WHEW! I'll hopefully received my Dee in a few days as this is a prime member order and I will give you my personnel opinion (I sure hope these reviews I have been reading are honest for I will see. Lastly this is your going price for the tool. I want to let you know of another cool tool which is called Trake, again another handy New Tool, check it out, you can always return the product if it is useless! Hope this helps you make a decision as so many tools are absolutely no good and a waste of time.....

I purchased this at Steins Garden Center for $15.99. I have 8 very large perennial beds and have planted perennials around the edge of my wooded lot. It's a wonderful tool.
