Good pump, maintenance tip
Good performance. Placed in the shade, never a problem with heating, so I ignore nominal duty cycle, runs 4 hours straight for my orchard. Maintenance tip: the impeller is brass, but the pump housing is iron. Left wet over winter, the housing will rust enough to jam up against impeller, prevents start. The impeller housing is easily removed, however. At end of season, remove the three hex head bolts at the inlet end of the pump, take out impeller, dry well, oil, replace, and bolt back on. You'll be good to go next summer.

Overall good pump, giving it 4 instead of 5 stars due to some surface rust and inconsistent paint finish, note Spanish only documentation

Good for particular uses
I bought this pump to replace a 1/2 hp pump I use to power a solar heater for my outdoor hot tub. I run water through black tubing on the hot, sunny roof of my shed, which keeps the pool warm (around 90 degrees in the summer) and cleans through circulating chlorine. I bought it to replace a submerged pump because I hoped to avoid having a wire going directly into the pool, even though I have it on two GFCI circuits. While installing, two problems arose:1. it was not powerful enough2. it must always have water in the pump to create the suction and prevent rust. The second I was able to overcome through engineering the pipe system, but the first meant I had to get another submersible pump. Therefore, it did not work for my purposes.I did turn the pump into a water fountain that my kids enjoy, so I'm getting some use out of it, but I will continue to buy the submersible pumps for the solar heater. It seems like this pump is mostly intended for professional agricultural uses.
