The BEST of the BEST!
THERE IS A REASON that museums use these exact same coin holders. SAFLIPS are by far made of the best type of material in which to store your valuable coins. I am an experienced numismatist and love to teach others about coins and coin collecting. I am asked all the time, "How should I store my coins......?" I tell everyone that SAFLIPS are the only flips they should consider using, period! SAFLIPS are made of a material called MYLAR (this is probably in the description somewhere so I may be reiterating, but for a good reason). MYLAR is an inert material unlike PVC or vinyl. Unfortunately, I have seen very valuable coins stored in PVC or plastic flips and I can 100% assure you that, over time, plastic will DAMAGE a coin!!!!! The material that SAFLIPS are made of will not harm a coin. One last thing.... NEVER CLEAN A COIN!!!!! That is probably the one question I am most constantly asked, "How do I clean my coins....?" Believe me, cleaning a coin will ruin its value, period!!! Hope this helps.
