I have used them with big and tiny seeds and it doesn’t let any through. I love that they screw onto my jars. It makes germinating seeds very easy. One of them did have an actual hole in it which is disappointing, but I will use the others first before I use that one. I could probably get away with using big seeds in that one.

Very easy to use. I am sprouting lentils for my chickens. I add the lentils and soak, then after 12 hours drain and rinse 2x a day. I haven’t had an issues with use. I throw them in the dishwasher between batches, so they are easy to clean.

Got these for my Dad and he said they worked great and that he loved them. My parents do a lot of fancy home made breads and salads and this has really been great for making the process of growing sprouts a lot easier.

Plastic is best because it won't rust. High quality durable plastic. Using them for sprouting.
