Nabee Socks Women's Hoppi Socks

I am an RN, and pregnant at that, and noticed the swelling in my feet and ankles would worsen by the end of my 12hr shift, so I decided to try some compression socks. I purchased these Nabee socks as well as some Nurse Mates socks that I saw that were less expensive and thought to compare them. Both are 15mm-20mm compression and both were for shoe size 11, and since I'm 6ft tall they both reached me right below my knee. These Nabee socks were roomy in the toe area as advertised (as were the Nurse Mates) but I found the Nurse Mates a little too snug across my arch area and a little too tight at the top part below my knee. They also didn't really reduce the swelling in my feet much and were not as comfortable as I would've liked. But I'm not sure if its because they were so snug across my arch that the swelling looked worse or what. In comparison, the Nabee socks were INCREDIBLY comfortable and left my calves and feet feeling massaged and energized the entire shift! I forgot I was wearing them to tell you the truth and at the end of my shift I had NO SWELLING!! So I'm thinking maybe the nurse mates socks are too small for a size 11 and should consider making them in an X-Large size cause the Nabee socks were an XL for my shoe size and they were great! I'll be sticking with Nabee for a while. As a matter of fact I wore them this past weekend when I went on a 3hr car ride to visit family and my calves and feet felt great, no swelling! I usually have swollen feet after these trips so I was excited to not have any!

I bought the same sock, with a different pattern from the same company, and this one is too long, so the top comes too high and cuts in. I don't know why that happens? It's scary because I want another pair, but not if it's going to be too long. For this kind of money I don't want to risk it. Otherwise the compression is good, they have held out for a while. I just have to fold the top down, which is not good.

These do not fit as well as the Nabee socks with the white dots, they feel a whole size smaller and they are a couple inches shorter. I only kept them because I had tossed the package. What a bummer.

I love these socks! I work Labor and Delivery and typically work 13-15 hour days...I am typically standing, squatting, kneeling and doing other types of labor support...these helped with sore feet and legs and eliminated swelling in my feet and ankles...I have bought and tried a lot of different socks and these are awesome!

Colors were not as brilliant as my screen made them seem but they are still very nice.Used these for a hospital stay, they worked exactly for what I needed.

Very cute, but way too tight and small.

These were a gift for my nurse daughter. She is in LOVE with them. In fact she has ordered more in other colors. Good job Nabee!
