I love this girl
I first heard Meiko on the commercial for Fancy Feast. Being an Ingrid Michaelson fan, I actually thought it was HER singing, not Meiko. A bit of research later, I'm suddenly listening to Meiko on Spotify and absolutely falling in love with her voice. She's one of those artists that I only had to hear one song from to become obsessed.I LOVE the CD (of course). If you love Ingrid Michaelson, Meiko's voice is extremely similar. Her catchy and indie little tunes are so relaxing, and also easy to play if you have a guitar (Reasons To Love You is my favorite to cover!) It almost makes me mad that she's not mainstream, even in the indie community. Hopefully she will shine one day! But sometimes not being that famous is a good thing -- she tweets and regularly talks with her fans, including me. I have suggested she come play at my obscure little town and she said she was down with that! :)My only complaint is that my version came from a public library that had a bunch of labels and extra stickers on it. It wasn't an official jewel case but a big boxy thing like you'd see at a rental store. But I guess that's what I get for choosing the cheapest option, so it's on me.

I love this CD
I discovered Meiko when a friend from myspace put her song on his page. Then I saw her on [...] and recognized her song on a tv commercial. I loved the "Boys With Girlfriends" song so I bought the CD. I like every track on it, which is so rare. There is usually only two or three good ones. The "Piano Song" is fun and quirky with some funny things going on in the background. "Said and Done" is great, such a sad song for anyone that ever experienced a broken relationship. "How Lucky We Are" is inspiring and hopeful for better things to come. I think "Under My Bed" is becoming my favorite track, I really love this song. "Maybe Next Year" is a different sort of Christmas song, it made me laugh the first time I heard it. The other tracks are great, too. This is on my gift giving list for a few people!

Very decent music, but not my favorite
There have been quite a few new female songwriters debuting lately, and I've been the beneficiary, getting a smorgasbord of music with many varying tastes. Meiko is a great offering, but I wasn't as impressed with it as some of the other female artists currently on offer. She sounds very close to Erin McCarley's, but Erin's music is much more striking and not as "same" sounding. I do love "Boys with Girlfriends", "Piano Song" and "Under My Bed", so the album overall is pleasing enough, I just wish there were a few more outstanding offerings on it. As a whole, I'll go back to the albums by Lenka, Erin McCarley, or Sara Bareiles. Meiko is another rising star, and I'm glad I took a chance on her album nonetheless. Hopefully she'll continue to give us some great music.

Organic beauty in her tunes and lyrics
There's a sweet down to earth quality in Meiko that is refreshing in the new overly hyped world of music these days. I know that taste is music is subjective, but in my opinion it's nice to find a clear clean articulate sound that conveys both clear emotion and a story. For those who are into the POP sound of Madonna and the likes, this might not be for you, but if your someone into good singer songwriters and adult alternative material who are able to see beyond the lights and choreography this collection of music is a jewel.

Great album from a great person
Meiko is a local talent of Georgia and like many other Georgian artists before her, she makes great music and has a wonderful personality that is warm, inviting and personable. Meiko's music is soothing and relaxing and when you meet her in person, she doesn't disappoint.

Sweet voice
I really love Meiko's unique voice and sweet lyrics. Her ballads speak to me, and they take me away a bit. Love most songs on the album.

Very happy with my Meiko C.D.
When I first heard someone playing a Meiko song from the disk, I just had to find out where I could get this music, then I went to Amazon.com and I found it. I am very happy with it and how soon Amazon sent it to me at a very good price. The disk was used, but, it came and it looked like a brand new disk.I am very glad to have it and, Yes, I will be useing Amazon from now on. Thank you Amazon, Anthony

Brilliant album
Meiko's self-titled debut album is one of those records where every single song is excellent. There are no bad songs. If you like artists such as Priscilla Ahn or Marié Digby then chances are you'll love Meiko. Her songs chart the ups and downs of relationships, with witty lyrics and beautiful melodies. Hawaii is very relaxing, and I defy anyone not to sing along to Boys With Girlfriends. It's a shame that this album is so difficult to find in the UK, but it's worth tracking down.

Nett ist nicht der kleine Bruder von ...
Ein weiteres girl with guitar. Wer Meiko kauft bekommt exakt was das Cover verspricht. Die Scrubs-Stücke wären aber die etwas einprägsameren und sonnigeren, „How Lucky We Are“, „Sleep“ oder „Under My Bed“ z.
