Sturdy and easy to use. Made changing my strut components an easy task.

Used these to swap in some Eibach lowering springs on my Mazda. We lined them up by hand and then one person held the set while the other person ran the impact. Alternating sides we were easily able to compress and remove, then install the new springs. These were cheap, to my door quickly, and we got the job done without any excitement or stress. I would not be scared if I had to use them again. That's about the best you can expect from these cheap sets, so I am giving it a perfect score.

I've put these things through hell since I've gotten them. Used them for struts, coilovers shocks, and even old-school coils that sit next to the shocks. The safety pins keep everything locked in place, sometimes they're actually a little difficult even when you're intentionally trying to take them out. I like to use these in combination with a mid-torque electric impact, it makes quick work of any coil. If you're buying these as a one-time thing for a project, it's a great purchase because you know you can trust the tool. If you're buying it as a tool you're going to use often - from my experience, they hold up well. I'll blast the threads with WD-40 and wipe them down from time to time just to keep things clean. Excellent product. Heavy and reliable - just how a tool should be.

These strut spring compressors are easy to use, of good quality, worked well and the cost was easily offset by the purchase of struts without springs. The original springs will last longer than the car and will most likely be superior to the majority of the after market springs. You must keep the strut compressor pulled outward, near the adjustment head, in order to maintain socket access. In addition, make your tension adjustments evenly about 10 revolutions per side to avoid pulling the opposite side too close to the spring, making it difficult to access with a socket. I used an impact wrench, after becoming familiar with the procedure with a ratchet/socket. Watch your fingers and make sure the safety pins are pushed through all the way. There was no slipping and one pair of compressors are fully capable of doing the job.

Work perfectly for mustangs 2005-2014. The safety pins had plenty of room to be engaged. Worked on stock springs and lowering springs just fine.

Replaced structs on 2016 Z71 1500- Little difficult to get positioned right - but was able to compress spring with out issue. Minimal bending/flex on the screw - nothing like you see w/ the Chinese sets on on youtube. If your going to take on this project - spend a few extra buck and buy a decent set like the oemtools..

I was able to lower my 2000 camaro using this coil compressors, they work great and look to be made out of good qualitity material.

Would not purchase again.

They feel and work exactly how i expected. Worth the cost 100%. Felt kinda safe using them. Although i never really feel safe compressing springs. I used my impact to tighten and loosen the spring compressor studs, just alternate from side to side and don't over-tighten/loosen one side to much and you will be fine. I do suggest to OEMtools to maybe rethink the locking pins a little. Make them actually look rather than sit in place.
