So easy to clean cause they are in a bag!

They were just as advertised, put right in pond filter and water already clearer. Price was very fair, delivery a little late but understand the world right now.

Awesome bio balls it's nice to have them in the bags so they aren't floating all over the place

The use of Bio-Balls is recommended for many types of water features, I use them in my small pond, which supports birds and bees and many small wildlife including fish, lizards and frogs.I have a little waterfall with a 20" rise, and the Bio-Balls live somewhere down underneath it. There they sit underwater and do their wonderful job of providing huge surface areas for beneficial microbes to flourish. Every year or so I pour in a few fresh microbes, but I rather suspect that it's unnecessary at this point, the point is established and well-stabilized. I give Bio-Balls part of the credit for my healthy pond.

bought with a waterfall for pond...it has been about two weeks and the little balls seem to be collecting debris

I don't normally write reviews but I just had to on this one! I have an 55 gal. outdoor pond that I was seriously considering digging up and donating my fish somewhere! The clean up had become so frequent it was maddening. Draining, shop vac, and the power washing just so I could even see them! But these bio-balls have been amazing! It was three weeks before I had to clean again and not because I couldn't see them but because it really was just time! They are awesome!

Wonderful bio balls! I have them spread out in a sump tank for my 240gal freshwater tropical tank. They trap debris and particles before the filter, making cleanup a charm with an aquarium vacuum. The included mesh bag works great if you don't want them all scattered around.
