A Fabulous Film & a Definite Must See!
This film has it all: action, sexiness, drama, humour, and of course, Arnie. The plot line is perhaps the most perfect part of this film. I often bemoan how tiresome sequels can be, milking a successful format without enough new ideas to warrant a whole new film, but that is emphatically not the case here! The story was written by someone who cared a great deal about the mythology of the Terminator storyline, and it cleverly ties together elements of all the previous films, either for drama, or humour, or both. It weaves into a new story an affectionale reprise of so many moments from past films. In fact it's the first film to handle the story with any intelligence since Ridley Scott departed the franchise after the second film. If you're a Terminator aficionado you will be delighted with this - I think it's fair to say - farewell to the story from a now rather senior Mr Schwarzenegger. The casting of Game of Throne's 'Mother of Dragons' Emilia Clarke as his beautiful but very capable sidekick was genius. She's a talented actress who brought a lot to the film other than eye candy. I can't praise this film highly enough and I will definitely watch it again in the coming years. And again. And again. And again...

Confusing? Yes. Entertaining? Absolutely
It’s got Arnie, guns, time travel, and about six timelines doing backflips over each other, what’s not to love? Terminator Genisys doesn’t try to be a perfect film, but it does give you great action, classic one-liners, and enough nostalgia to make any ’80s kid grin.Arnold is still the beating metal heart of this franchise. Sure, it gets messy (hello, alternate timelines), but if you’re here for explosions, exoskeletons, and Skynet drama, this is pure entertainment.Bonus: hearing “I’ll be back” again never gets old. Neither does he, apparently. 💪🤖🔥

As Good Action as the Others but with a Wicked Twist.
The action as we have come to expect from the previous editions is wonderful. The twist turns what was expected on it's head - with Skynet impersonating Connor - and so tossing everyone into confusion ...

Time to stop
It's not fair to say that this film was completely hopeless. It wasn't great but there were some good bits. The special effects were good I liked the way the melting cyborg repeatedly built back up again. I loved Arnold Schwarzeneger in this (in amazing shape for a 74 year old) - he was gently funny and a good support for the lead actors who I found a little luke warm. Having just watched Daredevil with Jennifer Garmer and Ben Affleck's sizzling romance scenes, the chemistry between Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney was non existant by comparison. Pops' smile was silly and they used it too many times, the script was also very tired in places-been there done that sort of thing. Lastly, twists and turns can add interest and intrigue but when there are two many the plot gets lost and that happened here - it was lame and busy at the same time. I'm glad I watched it because seeing Schwarzeneger is alway fun but really I won't retain the memory of the rest of the film as I did the original - poor effort, they should leave it alone now.

A thoroughly enjoyable film that will cleanse the distaste left by the last two endeavors.
Whilst I have always been a fan of the Terminator films, Rise of the machines and Salvation left me feeling a little disheartened and unenthused. Upon renting Genisys I had very low expectations, but was still forgiving enough to let bygones be bygones - and boy am I glad I did. The plot did not disappoint, especially when we were transported back to beginning of the whole saga. I found myself recanting known lines only to be hit with the twist (I'm sure I squealed with delight when the divergence became apparent). I was hooked. I thought I knew how this went....the journey ahead had me on the edge of my seat and it got better and better.

Best
Terminator Genesys is a 2015 science fictiob film and the 5th installment in the Terminator franchise. The film plot revolves around John Connor, the leader of the human resistance against the Skynet AI, who sends Kyle Reese back in time to protect his mother, Sarah Connor. The film's storyline si convoluted and at times difficult to follow, and the time travel plot elements are confusing. I enjoyed watching, even some of viewers says that is a mediocre addition to the Terminator franchise.

Good addition to the first two installments
*** SPOILER *** Up to Genisys (2015), I watched all the Terminator movies but Salvation (2009). I am a huge fan of the first two movies (released in 1984 & 1991) but the 3rd one was a bit of a let down for me. Now THIS ONE is great: although we can find the classic chases sequences (it wouldn't be Terminator if there was none), the emphasis is on a great and strong storyline: Sarah Connor is back, father and son meet, young and old version of the same character meet, the Terminator is there (of course) and a new and improved robot arrives. However, I have two downsides. The first is a VERY complicated timeline (like how did Kyle had the photo of Sarah since in the end, that moment never happened?). The second is the choice of Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor (even though I like that actress). I didn't feel she had the strength, determination, strong mind and the charisma of a commander. She’s just alright for that role. Despite this, if you are a Terminator fan, you will spend a great moment with your favourite characters.
