Best New Gadget - Perfect for Cake Pops
I was not sure this would be a time-saver when using them for cake pops, but I have to say it saved me at least 50% of the time it normally takes to roll cake pops. Plus, they come out perfectly round. I don't know if this happens to everyone, but when I roll a ball in my hands, it is never perfectly round. I am so impressed with this little gadget, it's the best new thing I've bought in awhile. There was a reviewer who said the cake stuck to the sides, but I didn't experience that at all - not even once out of 96 cake balls. If you use a lot of frosting, I can see how it might stick to the mold. Cake pops need just 1/2 cup or less of frosting per cake. Any more than that and they're mushy.I also tried the 1.5" Fox Run meatballer, which had a couple of good reviews from cake ball bakers. It was not fast or efficient for me, plus the balls were more oblong than round.Although I don't have long-term use of this product, it appears sturdy enough to make hundreds, if not thousands, of cake balls.

Usually But
I like this but was disappointed it didn’t come in original packing as show in pictures. I hate when that happens.

Its OK
It took some getting used to, to make the cake balls. I don't like the fact that if you put too little, you get a misshapen, too small ball. If you put too much, it oozes out the sides and is nice and round. There is no easy way to measure the correct amount every time. But for the most part, I was pleased with the end product.

Good!
Easier on the hands than squeezing the meat ball maker. I was hoping it had a hole in one side for excess to squeeze out of (like the meat ball maker). The extra cake squishes out the sides, making it kinda messy, but you do get a nice round cake ball.

Just does not work the way they tell you it will.
Sure it is easy to clean and sturdy but the line where the top and bottom meet leaves a line and by the time you smooth it out the cake pop is no longer round. It was also slightly smaller than expected.
