I do not recommend this product because the badger brush is of extremely poor quality. I used it for five weeks anticipating that the bristles would cease to shed after being broken in. Unfortunately, it kept leaving bristles in my soap bowl and on my face. It was so annoying that I contacted AMAZON and they graciously refunded my cost in full. I had no issues with the stand and handle, but since the brush is USELESS I am tossing the whole thing into the trash. I appreciate AMAZON's commitment to excellent customer service in resolving my dissatisfaction.

This is a better than average quality shaving set at a very reasonable price.Badger is the preferred hair for a shaving brush as it holds water and quickly works the soap into a good lather.This is a standard quality badger brush, with silver tip being the best. A silver tip brush should be more than the price of this set.As with any natural brush, you will lose hairs. I have not found the loss to be excessive.The first few times, expect to lose a couple of hairs each time.The Mach 3 razor handle has good balance with excellent “hand feel”.Simply screwing will tighten the handle pieces, something I had to do on delivery.The metal stand is solid standing straight up even with the brush and razor in it.The brush fits in the loop as shown.Hanging overnight returns the bristles to their expect shape.The razor has a small “dish” and holder. Even with a cartage in place, there is no problem hanging the items or with the stand staying upright.In addition to being functional, this attractive item that looks good on the vanity.If you stay with brush and razor shaving, this will not be your last purchase.I can see upgrading the brush and possibly buying a more exotic handle.Whatever I do, this set will last as long as I want to use it making this an excellent starter set.

The set is very attractive and fits nicely on the counter (not too big); but the biggest reason for the rating is the quality of the brush. My husband says it is so much better than his old one because it creates a lot of lather with very little soap. We also like the fact that it uses shaving heads that we already use - Mach 3.

It's nice and looks really sharp.. The badger brush isn't the best quality, but it works fine. You get what you pay for!

This is a great value for the price. For the price I was a little worried but great product and it looks good on bathroom vanity.

WHAT A PIECE OF GARBAGE PLASTIC NOT METAL VERY UPSET RETURNED IT AS SOON AS i SAW IT THIS WAS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR
