Great boots.
~ After reading all the reviews about size, I ordered a full size larger, and it was too big for me. I am a size 6 1/2 or 7 in regular shoes and I ordered a 8 on these boots. It was about a full size larger and they looked big and felt big, although narrow on the sides. I could have kept them and wear them with tick socks, but I don’t like the look of big boots so I returned them and exchanged for a size 7.~ The quality and look of the boots are great, soft, beautiful real leather, rich beautiful brown color, easy to slide your foot inside, a cool, beautiful look overall and excellent quality of materials.~ The sole is smooth and has no texture or traction whatsoever, so I recommend buying self-adhesive non slip pads for the soles, you can purchase those here at Amazon as well. I do not recommend these boots for slippery surfaces, and definitely not for winter unless you wear cleats or spikes every time you go out.~ These boots are beautiful and very well made, but the smooth and texture-free sole may be a problem for some now that winter approaches.~ The sizing may be off on each case, as I read that these feel really big for some and just fine for others (in my case it was true to size), be prepared to exchange or return your order, the sizing seems to be off, Give yourself an extra week or more time to order and get the right size.~ They feel a little narrow, specially on the heel area (my feet are neither narrow or wide, but Medium).~ They look beautiful and expensive for the great price :)***UPDATE: I forgot to write that another factor on making these boots a little difficult to put on is the material of the lining. It’s all leather and the inside of the boot has the rough side of the leather, so when you put it on with socks that rough leather grabs onto the socks and makes it difficult for your feet to slip inside. I had that problem the first time I put it on, it felt like it was 3 sizes smaller and very hard to put on, but once my foot went inside, the size felt right and comfortable. I wear them now with “silky” or smooth textured socks until the rough leather of the lining gets smooth by constant use. These boots are a little narrow, the sizing problem for some of us may be just that, the length is fine but the smaller the size, the narrower it gets.At the end I ordered a size 7.5 and it feels true to size, although a bit narrow on the heel area, something I trust will get better in time as the leather expands naturally with use and the heath of my own feet.Remember that always leather shoes are a little stiff at first, and in time they become very comfortable, so, to me these boots are amazing and I absolutely recommend them.

RAD, AMAZING, QUALITY but *absolutely* size up when ordering
why choose ratinglike/dislikewho recommend product toExcellent mix between boho, urban, biker, and princess. I've gotten more looks and "ermahgawds" on these puppies than any other shoe I've owned. Fits mid-calf, actual leather, adjustable buckles are not that awful painted-on gold & have a slightly brandished look, leather stays relatively clean yet as I've trounced around in them, the leather looks "worn-in and loved" vs. scratched and cheap. Pretty excellent arch support though if arches are a true problem for you, get insoles. I am a true 9 in quality shoes with accurate measurements (aka most vanity shoes from urban outfitters, target, forever21 I have to purchase a size 10 or not at all) so after reading reviews about the sizing, I ordered a 9.5 in the brown. Not extremely tight but just snug enough to know it would be months before they broke in to the right size. Switched 'em for a 10, have been wearing them for weeks, they stretched a tiny bit but only in a comfortable way; they're the perfect size now. Looks like my preconceived notions about cheap shoes and sizing were not entirely true :) Bought them in black for my best friend and it's making me want to order a 2nd pair. Overall, incredible boot that doesn't get too soaked in rain to feel on my socks, looks lovely, quality yet needs a half to a full size up when ordering.

Great shoe, sizing way off!
Love the boots -- nice leather, well constructed, sturdy heel and sole -- but the sizing is WAY off. I tried my actual size first couldn't even put my foot in it -- the 8.5 fit like a six. Tried a 10 and it was also too small. Felt like a 7.5 or an 8 to me. They were also very narrow. I might have been able to wear them at that size had they been a bit wider. Waiting on my next order, 11s, to arrive and hoping for the best. Hope my size equivalency estimations might help some people! Basically, good boot, good price, but go up at least 2 sizes. And they aren't for wide feet.EDIT: Size 11 finally arrived and fits fine. Very comfortable. Fits like a 9-9.5 would. Updating to 4 stars since the boots themselves are good, but not five because of the sizing issue.

Really small!
Great boots, and worth returning for the proper size, but my word, they are SMALL. I usually wear a 6.5, sometimes a 7. I had to return a 7.5 and get an 8! First time ever, and I won't be wearing thick socks with them. That said, they look great and seem well made. Looking forward to wearing them this fall.

Runs small and snug fit
I bought these after reading reviews saying that they ran small so I estimated accordingly. I generally wear a 7 1/2 to 8 so I purchased an 8 1/2. They are still too small...not in length but the toes are very restrictive even in thin socks. The toes and heals are very stiff and will take some work wearing them in. The leather elsewhere seems to be a bit on the thin side but very soft. I guess that can be a pro or con depending on your preference and climate they are to be worn in. Otherwise they seem to be decently made with good stitching, solid hardware and a sturdy sole. I think these will be fine after a bit of work.

It is true, these are TINY, and the quality is poor.
I loved the shape and color, though the boots are decidedly darker than the photo. Once I ordered the right size (2! sizes up), the fit was pretty good too (still a little on the tight size, but I was hoping the leather would stretch out a little). Unfortunately, the first day I took these out, a short stop at the library wrecked them. I was there with my toddler, so ended up on my knees. A few minutes of contact with the carpet, and the dye on the toes rubbed off completely. I have never in my life come across leather this poorly stained.
