Purchased the Friday Home Smart lock for our front door and it works like a charm. First off, I love the slick design concept of the lock made by the Danish Architect Bjarke Ingels, compared to many other bulky type locks in the same category that I researched before i decided to purchase this one. The install was easy and straight forward, not to mention the abundance of assist functions available, easy to connect to my smart phone and I absolutely love the access monitoring and share capabilities with friends and family when they come to visit for a few days. All in all, It looks good, it works well and I am very happy with the choice I made. I can strongly recommend you take a look at this lock if you are looking for top notch technology for your home.

Attempted install of two different units for front entry. Install and connection went reasonably well but both mechanisms did not function robustly: problems began soon after install; best case was after about a week of successful use and testing.Hardware: Mechanism would report a "jam" and / or continue to actuate (mechanism sound) after moving bolt. Repeated attempts to recalibrate lock with Friday app did not solve problem. Additionally, mechanism would (after a time) not rotate properly as it did immediately after install: it was as if an internal blockage had happened and the product would then not rotate properly or would function erratically (work a few times, then not work on a subsequent try.)App / software: Product works very well with Apple Homekit; seemingly better than with the native Friday app. The Friday app is required to finish or change lock configuration for Homekit, though.The Friday app was:for install: one unit was accomplished quickly, simply; next less-so but for both attempts app was satisfactory.for longer-term use: mediocre at best. Often app would report it could not "find the lock" (eg, when attempting a settings change like recalibration) even when Homekit could operate the lock AND when the Friday app itself could operate the lock (!). The wi-fi interface is elementary: finding available networks takes a long time and password entry is tedious without assist features (eg, no choice to show actual characters entered vs char "dots")Really liked this product; wished it had worked out.

This lock is amazing! The simple installation guide made it super easy to install and set up the lock, took less than 30 min altogether. The very cool design sets it apart from all the other smart locks we had looked at before - this one is truly unique. We could not be happier with this purchase, strongly recommend it!

I got a bad Battery (it won't hold a charge) they never contacted me Level is a better option replacable ladder

Didn’t work, terrible customer service. I installed and tried to set up first week of December — customer service kept “not seeing” my emails and finally now, first week of February, they THINK it might be faulty Bluetooth in the lock, but they only came forward with that idea and an offer to send me a new lock this evening, two months after I first contacted them for help. Long story short they had no idea what was wrong, were leaving it over a week to get back to me between emails, and are refusing to give me my money back. I ended up getting a totally different lock from another brand which worked perfectly first try.
