Works as a hole plug, trimable
Used this to plug a 2" hole in our bedroom ceiling where the previous owners routed security camera cables down to a dresser (why they didn't fish them down the wall along with the coax cable, i have no idea). It isn't perfect, but its good enough that I can stomach it and not have to patch the hole and paint the whole ceiling (because ceiling paint never matches so you can't just paint one spot). The hole i had to plug was right near the crown molding so i had to cut one side of the circle flat, but this patch can easily be trimmed with kitchen scissors. The downsides are that it is really floppy, and a little concave, so it doesn't sit tight at the edges. I would recommend a different product (one with screws) if you need a cover for an actual ceiling box.

Terrible
Flimsy, I intended to use it to cover a standard round electric box of the same size but fails to cover it fully.First, because the electric box isn’t completely flushed against the ceiling (usually has a “lip” that mounts over the ceiling) then since this cover is completely flat, you would ultimately see the few millimeters of the box material around it.Second, to make it worse, it hardly “snaps-in”, the plastic of the piece that is supposed to hold it in place is super soft and doesn’t secure it tightly (because of this there is also a gap between the box and the cover and makes it look absolutely terrible). If that wasn’t enough, on the outside has a very tiny hole or mark that, should the rest of the cover had worked well, the exposed circle would not be perfectly smooth either (maybe if you have super high ceilings, don’t pay attention to it, or aren’t picky you wouldn’t notice although none of the above applies in my case). If you don’t mind about the little mark in the center though, it may work ok if you take the box out and use it to cover the hole. I didn’t try this myself because wasn’t planning to eliminate to box, however if this was the intended use, the seller should update the description.I left it in for now but will replace it as soon as I find a different product that actually works...

Cheap but work I guess
These are cheap, but they're easy to drop in and cover up and fan box hole in my cathedral ceiling well enough. They don't seem very secure though, fully expecting them to slowly fall out just based on the house's normal movement day to day, season to season. Also somehow I'm an idiot and bought 2 sets of 2. So I've got 2 extras not worth returning.

Works well but is a bit flimsy
I bought this to cover an unused ceiling duct and it works fine but could use more tension on the spring.

Works!
This saved the day for a hole that was left by an electrician when he was feeding through some wires, it's so high up on our 15 foot ceiling, we couldn't reach it with the ladder we have to do any type of drywall repair, maybe in the future, but for now, this was a much needed quick fix and it looks pretty dang decent as well, very light weight, easy to put into place, we put up by using one of those long sticks with pinchers on the end, because we couldn't reach it, and it just fell right into place, love it, thank you so much!

not great but not bad
not a good seal but to the eye it does cover the hole.

It's soft.
Too soft and that make it un-even.

Did not perform as expected
It was difficult to make it stay flat to the ceiling. Had to caulk adhesive around edge.
