Autoglym Polar Collection - Car Cleaning Kit

Just got a pressure washer and got this as I had seen reviews of it. Only used it once so far so these are my initial impressions. Overall it works really well. The pre wash foam was just fine and did the job. The car wasn't particularly dirty but it looked OK afterwards. Rinsing did take a while but that might mean adjusting the settings on the foam cannon and also the dilution next time. The wash was fine too. Went around with a mitt after putting it on and it did feel smooth - the pre-wash having done the job. Finally the polar seal - I should have made a little bit more of this as I just had enough. After rinsing and drying the car looked great. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish.

Never used snow foam before so thought I would give it a go. I saw this and thought it seemed like a good place to start. The three products were a good mix Pre wash, wash and hydrophobic spray. I am by no means a car washing nut. I do it when it needs done. I have to say I was very impressed. The products work very well. It says to agitate after applying the Pre wash and Wash? I never did the whole car only where the seagulls had taken a dump on it. And it came up very nicely. ( The car,not the seagulls poop) I applied all the products as instructed and I have to say it was very easy to apply. It held onto the car and didn't immediately run off. Which I liked. After a quick hose down with the pressure washer and a wipe down with the micro cloth. Shiny again. Must say the foamer attachment was not an expensive one either and the spray/foam was very impressive. So as a starter kit this is excellent. But be aware the Prewash goes down very quickly. I have loads of The hydro spray left, but the other two products are nearly gone? I did four cars with the bottles tho,( Got carried away with my new snow foamer. It's very satisfying) so when you work out the cost per car it's very economical really. Would I recommend it? Yes 100% the results are great. And yes I will be ordering a bigger Pre wash and Wash . I think I have created part time job for myself, cleaning the neighbours cars on my day off.

Also own another snowfoam product by T....wax and found it leaves waterspots. Bought this kit and provided you follow the instructions it cleans brilliantly leaving no water marks. Car has black paintwork and is still shining a week later. Bit pricey for such small bottles hence only 4 stars. Defo 5 star product.

These are well with the money. I absolutely love cleaning cars in my spare time and this kit makes it so enjoyable. The results are great, as to be expected from such a renowned and trusted brand.

I’ve been washing cars all my life and I’m of the old school mindset a bit of elbow grease is needed to achieve a good finish. Whilst this still rings true, I was blown away by how easy this trio wash made the task of creating a superior finish. I have an SUV and it picks up a lot of dust and muck, I’ve been using a generic wash and wax product, but was frustrated by the streaky milky finish. I read good reviews and decided to try this pre/wash/seal approach. I have a Ryobi pressure washer which has a detergent cartridge so didn’t need to buy the spray bottle. My method is: rinse off dirt, use the polar pre wash, leave 5 mins and then rinse off. Best use the polar wash, and use a good wash mitten to agitate the bodywork. Rinse off and leave 2 mins to drip dry. Finally the polar seal applied through the spray only to the bodywork and then rinse off within a few minutes. Make sure you use a decent shammy cloth (crucial) to wipe down the bodywork and then you see the results ! Couple this with a decent tire gel and the car is transformed . Will be buying this from now on- no substitute

Works well

Brilliant kit, bought a few times now and it really does make car washing easy. And it smells great, very gentlemanly kinda cent. Gives a great gloss and some excellent looking beading when there's some light rain. Heavy rain just runs straight off. It really is good stuff. Bit on the pricey side but understandable.
