ProMaster Rugged Memory Case for XQD, CFexpress Type-B, SD & Micro SD, (Model 3636)

Good construction. Wish they were a little more snug but they didn’t fall out

I bought this not completely understanding the description. But if you look at the picture, it definitely hold 3 Type B cards and 6 SD cards. This was perfect for my new Canon R5. I have 4 sets of cards 1 is always in the camera.

This is a very well-made quality case. I do wish it held more, but you actually can double up in the cutout spaces if you are careful when you open the case. For years, I have stuck spare cards in my shirt pocket, in obscure pockets in various camera cases and bags, and ended up with them everywhere but where I could find them. This is a lifesaver - well, a card saver. It is a nice size that will fit in your pocket or a bag where it can be easily found. Super item.

Good, does its job

This is the 2nd SD card case I’ve purchased. The first one I bought had more of a rubber surround. I noticed with a lot of use my card were becoming bent and even broken. This case has been much better. The foam is just firm enough to hold things in tightly, even with a lot of use but not so much that it will break or bend your cards. I love that it includes the 3 different sizes I need and use for my canon r5 and dji drone.

The foam cutout inside works beautifully and it holds all my cards for a gig. I shoot with a Canon R5C, which uses both SD and CFexpress Type-B so having all my cards nicely secured in one case is great. Not much more to say about this, I love it!

FUNCTIONALITY Holds both a decent number of CF Express Type B Cards and SD cards in one slim package. Why this combination was so difficult to find is beyond me. The inserts provide a secure grip for your cards (Smallrig pay attention), and are made of a dense foam instead of rubber. Placing and removing cards is easy and without issue. BUILD QUALITY Compared to other similarly priced cases, the plastic does not feel overly robust. The material is thinner than most and the clasp feels cheap. When pressed upon, the case has some flex, but not enough to warrant concern. On the plus side it is extremely light. PRICE TO PERFORMANCE At the current price of $32.41, this case commands a premium that isn't reflected in the build material. If you don't card about this particular combination or the slim profile there are much cheaper alternatives offered by JJC. It's unfortunate that the Smallrig 15 Slot Card Holder has such abysmal card slots, because the build quality absolutely outshines this case.
