02109 27 sq. ft. 3D Glue-On Wall/Ceiling/Wainscoting Panels, Blocks

These panels worked beautifully. We used liquid nails to adhere them to the wall(thumb tacks held them in place while drying), caulked the edges & corners, sanded the caulk down once dry, & then painted them. I used a box cutter to cut them as needed, & I used spray insulation foam under some of the loose hanging edges created after cuts had been made to provide extra stability. They really make the room as you can see from the photo. I highly recommend this product.

Cool looking, but essentially they are made of paper pulp like egg cartons. They are hard to paint as a spray primer makes the fibers raise up. I suppose they are made to have paint be brushed on, but I want a high gloss finish. They advise to use painters caulk to fill the seams, but don't do that! You can't sand the caulk smooth and it's hard to only get it in the seams. Just make sure you adhere them onto a substrate first with a generous amount of spray adhesive otherwise they could pop off in places and the seams will crack. It's better to use acrylic putty to fill the seams once the panels are primered.

The packaging was minimal so certain corners got minorly bent. The product itself feels flimsy but I am going to try to prime it and paint it to see if it looks much more professional after installation so stay tuned ! If it works out than this is great value to really give your home a look of elegance for the fraction of the price

Great product and inexpensive for the effect it creates. Love it. Looks better after painting but make sure to use a good cutting tool, preferably a fine toothed saw which somebody else mentioned, to get a clean edge. Very happy with the end result but needed a bit of effort.
