Light Angel – Stick Up LED Motion Sensor Light, As Seen On TV

I bought 2 of these to install in my outside shed. It in the back of the yard, pitch black back there at night and quite dark inside even by dusk. So far these have worked great! I opted to not use the double sided tape (which is a 3M product so it should be good stuff) because the shed is textured plastic and will have huge temperature swings from summer to Ohio winter. I did not think tape would last too long so I was able to get away with just using 1 screw per lamp, 1 lamp over the door, 1 lamp on the back wall. So far they have been in there a couple months now and as soon as it sees the door start to open the lights come on (if its dark enough outside). They will stay on for a few minutes and go out on their own so I never have to worry about remembering to turn them off. And even when I have the doors wide open, lights off and start walking to go inside the shed the unit mounted on the back wall see me from about 20 feet away and turns on! The lights are really bright for use in a small room like my shed, can swivel and twist to aim where ever you like them. I am very happy with this product and the price was better than I saw in stores in their 'as seen on TV' section.

A lady friend needed to illuminate an area in front on an entry door to her home to see te way and get a key in the door. I originally installed a motion activated, photo sensitive light on ceiling of that porch for her. It worked well enough, although no matter how far I turned down the sensitivity, it picked up every critter that came along, and was off and on all night long. Every time the power went off from a storm, it needed to be unplugged, reset, electronics destroyed bla bla bla. Then one night on late night T.V., I saw an add for the "Light Angel" It seemed like the perfect solution to her problem! I ordered two, one for her place, and one for my own. After a five minute install, loaded with the new "Quantum AA" batteries, mounted across from the back door, it was the perfect answer. No footage to adjust / stays on for 60 seconds / never affected by power failures / LED bright blue lights com on as soon as she rounds the corner, lighting the door way and key entry. She was very happy to say the least. And as we all know; when they're happy, you get happy as well!

I purchased this in 2015 to use by my gate for light at night and it's still working strong. The lenses got cracked by dropping it as I was changing the batteries. Good light bright enough to see as I unlatch the gate about the same brightness as my J5 tactical 400 lumens flash light with about 5 feet circle. Very tuff plastic body. The 4 AA Batteries last for around 1 or 2 months. 5 years old and still going great.

the light angel was easy to put together and install (double-sided tape). All this time and it is still hanging! This tape is very strong. The light has a several-minute timer that turns it off after movement has stopped, so that batteries are not wasted. I have yet to replace the batteries! It's not quite as bright as I'd hoped, but the light it provides is more than adequate.

UPDATE: I spoke too soon. The new one is not automatic; it stays on or off according to the small switch at the bottom. Since I have my first one to compare it to, I know it is defective. I notice the motion sensor on the new one looks different from the old one, so I suppose it was made by another supplier who got it wrong.My original review is based on my first light: To be perfect, this light needs a door to the battery compartment without screws. One of its best features is that the motion sensor is very sensitive, but does not turn on the LEDs when there is light. (My 2001 light turned on any time there was motion, so I had to turn it off in the daytime.) The four AA batteries last well, and the LEDs give off a bright light indoors. The swivel feature and three hanging holes are very useful, and my only worry would be if rain could get into the batteries outdoors. I picked up my first Angel Light at Walgreen and was so happy with it that I looked for another on Amazon, and was pleased that it was both $3 cheaper and on Prime. I find the Angel Light to be a bargain, thoughtfully designed with many uses.

Finally got around to doing a review on a rainy day, long overdue. This never was very bright and seemed like we were always replacing the batteries too often. However, it was inexpensive enough, and did work - so for a short-term or rental might suffice in a pinch when and where needed.

I am going to give this light an excellent rating because it does what I had intended it to do.....which is to provide a LITTLE light, not a huge amount, down the stairway to the basement. Just enough to light the way for people who are not used to my stairs...and without turning on the overhead lights which are very bright. I try to save energy as much as possible so these lights serve it's purpose. However, I ordered two more and one of them never went off despite the amount of light and it is supposed to go out after 30 seconds. So, have sent it back which was a good experience as they sent me a pre-paid shipping label...thank you. I will, of course, purchase another one to take its place.

The old one I had in the past had a day night sensor on it, the new one I purchased did not have this feature, they did away with it on the newer models. Needless to say the new one goes through batteries much faster since it turns on during the day light hours every time you walk by it. I certainly liked the old one I had allot better, who in the heck needs a light that turns on during the day?

Works great for a porch light on my travel trailer, lights up to allow you to get the door unlocked and to see the stairs. Just be sure to take it inside during long rainy periods as it is not waterproof. It will shed light rain fall but not a months worth of heavy downpour, this is a replacement for the first one that I purchased. I was surprised at how long the batteries lasted we used the light for 3 month stay in Mexico when the light was in use a lot and still had battery power for the rest of the summer. I am purchasing one for my brother to use on his sailboat .

What a bonus - access lighting to those problem areas where electricity supply is a problem.
