Is it water resistant?

I’ve gotten mine wet several times. Overtime the case will darken but it doesn’t ruin.

Apple makes the leather case in several colors. "Sometimes" Amazon get the wrong image posted. Just make sure that your order reflects the color that you want and you will be OK.

Is the leather case protective from drops?

It will certainly provide some protection, especially if the iPhone falls on an edge. Of course, it won't help if the drop is from more than two or three feet. It also makes the iPhone less slippery in your hand, so you may be less likely to drop it in the first place.

Is it authentic apple case?
