This is a good read with a broad scope view on baroque and rococo art. It is very well illustrated as is this series.

Well-written, massive detail, plenty of entertainment and wow factor photos. The shiny pages can be difficult to read in uncertain light conditions. A definitive work, I'd say.

I bough this for a class and only used it a few times but the images alone are worth it. It is laid out well on the pages and it makes sense in structure. I really want to buy more form this series.

Really interesting topic and easy read for my class.
